AJ with Tyra: Gay for Pay

The whole thing is on youtube now, just search Gay for Pay - Tyra and ull see all 5 parts.

I watched all the segments on youtube, it was pretty much what I expected. Straight claimed guys doing it for the money and end up supporting gays. The surprise was Tyra, I didn't think she takes a side but she admits to have gay friends and support gays.

I'm not surprised that she would have gay friends. Although I think some of her speech like "Tyra loves the gays" and her stereotypical views of homosexual men was probably a front. There's no way that someone like Tyra could be that naive and ignorant about gay and bisexual men after going through the modeling and acting world.

I think the most telling part of the show, which seem to be blatantly homophobic, was when the "expert" from the Advocate complained that straight men who work in gay industries (porn and gay bars) are doing a disservice to gay men by not being true role models. It is the Advocate, who for years that has put straight male actors on its covers, to sell magazines that has been the most hypocritcal about how gay men need role models .

The boys on the set (AJ and Kurt) tried to explain that they are very gay positive, but it was shouted down by that moron Tyra. I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Despite their protestations of "doing it for the money", and "Just being an actor" I think that these guys on some level enjoy what they are doing and while they are not gay in the traditional sense, they do enjoy a good ass fucking.

Finally I think this is another example of actually how gay sexuality will be mainstreamed. By having more straight guys come in contact with gay guys and find that they don't all want to sleep with them, and have a lot more in common than what they originally thought, it will give the gay movement a greater acceptance.

As a disclaimer: I would do anything for Kurt. :=D: :=D: :=D:

She's getting a special award at the GLAAD Media Awards this year....her and Suze Orman....

The guy from the Advocate was getting on my nerves. He did not know what he was talking about at all.:grrr:

Yea the Advocate guy was a big idiot.

Even though I found the spikey haired bartender the most douchey, I liked how honest he was about thinking gay guys were gay because they couldnt get girls. As stupid as that is, it was honest. I bet there are a lot of straight guys that sorta think that.

damn...wish I had cable again to see that episode...I just saw the "I'm a womanizer" episode today...that Shawn dude was pretty cute...but even the "relationship expert" could tell he was probably overcompensating for his gayness...

as Charlie Sheen would say...he's bursting into flames

I didn't really find it too informative about things, since I have had straight guys tell me that for enough cash, they would fuck/get fucked by a guy willingly, or w/e else it may be.

Honestly, sex is sex, and if you get aroused by a man, you can easily be aroused by a woman. As Kurt said, it's all about the mindset. Me, I've never done it, but if some girl came up and offered me 10,000 bucks to spend the night with her, I wouldn't have a problem, same as if I was straight and it was a guy who offered.

Notice how the gay community uses all of these women as icons, yet there are gay men who deserve to be named as such, yet they aren't famous.
