I need advice on the best way to prepare for a cock, ive only tried anal like once before and it hurt like hell but i was much younger and i really really want to now.

Im meeting up with the same guy from before and hes quite large about 8" and really thick.

Does anyone have any tips?
 
Realize that not every bi/gay guy likes anal. For example, only about half of all gay couples actually have anal sex. The rest stick to other things like handjobs and blowjobs. So, if you find that you don't like anal sex, there's no pressure to do it.

But if you still want to give it another go, you can try the following: (1) make sure you're in the mood for anal sex; (2) use plenty of water-based lube; (3) start with a finger, then two fingers, and so on; (4) and go slow, letting him know if and when it hurts, and then go faster only after it starts to feel good. Also, try a couple different positions -- usually it's best to start out lying on your stomach or on all fours.

There's really not much more you can do. In the meantime, though, you might want to try getting used to anal by pleasuring yourself. Try to find out what you like best, at home and on your own terms. Give it a go with your fingers, dildos, or other toys.
 
I agree, starting with fingering can be a way to loosen up.

I would add that you can ask him if you can be on top of him (sitting on him) to start. That way you have more control over the pacing. He can also jerk you off as you are lowering yourself onto him. Once you feel comfortable in that position, then you can shift to another position to give him more thrusting leverage.
 
I also agree, anal isn't for everyone but if you're gonna try it you have to use the fingers first with some lube. You'll probably need alot of lube for a big, thick 8 incher. Have Fun, I wish I could go back to those days haha.
