I am not. Mine is all dusty for being abandoned a long time ago.
DVD is much better than video cassetes.

I use mine very rarely... mainly to tape a tv show. Its main function now is to tell me the time.

We didn't use ours for much for a while after we got the Tivo and the DVD recorder, but that's changing.I went back to taping some stuff so that I could take it out to my workshop and watch it out there, since I can't get any kind of reception and I'm too cheap to pay to have the satellite dish installed out there too.Where we live, if you don't have a satellite dish, you might as well not own a TV.

Rarely...I have not taped anything in a long time, but I do use it for some of the porn...Thank God it is BETA...okay, not really!

Still use mine a lot but only for taping TV programmes and watching old recorded TV programmes (mainly documentaries and music shows) and AFL games that I've kept over the years (I've got stacks!). Only ever hire movies in DVD format now.

All my porn is on VHS, and all my 'old favourites' movies are as well. I'll never get these on DVD, so the VCR stays.

Same here, I have a lot of stuff on VHS, my bro has a huge collection of old movies which I have really gotten into. When I say old, I mean from around 1940, the movies were so different back then, I love em!

All the time. I'm not shelling out on DVD recorders seeing as new stuff has a limited shelflife.

I use mine mainly for taping tv shows. I have a large video collection but now only buy DVDs.

I spent last summer converting all my VCR tapes to DVD: both the porn and movies. Then I sold off all my porn tapes and sold the mainstream movies on eBay. I still keep the VCR because I will convert people's tapes to DVD for them (for a small fee). It stays in the closet most of the other time.

I still use my VCR all the time. Now that DVD is all the craze, you can get piles and piles of great movies on VHS for practically nothing. My porn is all on VHS, too, since I only have a VCR in my room... the DVD player is in the living room, not the most private of places.

too much porn and too many home videos to get rid of the vcr. but otherwise i use dvd and dvr.

I use it for taping stuff. I've never really been into buying tapes, so I don't use it for that.

I have a lot of rare stuff on VHS and tons of music videos. I keep my VCR in hopes of one day getting a burner so I can transfer everything to DVD.

When I buy a film, I buy DVD, but I still use VCR for taping programmes off the tv

I still use mine. But I collect horror movies and I'm not going to turn down a vhs tape that I find at a Garage Sale, if I don't have it yet! :) I also use my VCR for recording stuff off the tv.

Anything we buy is on DVD but I still use the VCR to tape stuff off the TV to watch at a more convenient time. When the VCR dies will be the time to look into something newer for recording but for now it costs us nothing to keep things the way they are.

I still use mine to tape TV shows I have one VHS porn all the rest are DVD I will probably be updating to a DVD recorder soon.

I never use my DVD player or VCR.

I was shocked 2 years ago when I realized that I haven't used or owned a VCR this CENTURY. So when I purchased a new DVD player for my mother, I got her one with a VCR/DVD in case I ever wanted to watch any of those Christmas/Halloween specials we recoreded off of TV with sis and I were kids.
