Haven't been to Crew Club in D.C. but have been to Chicago Steamworks many, many, many times. Always fun and it's full of good-looking guys who are there to PLAY.

I love steamworks but was disapointed that they took out the video lounge.
When is the best time to go? I try to go on Saturday afternoons, after about 3:00 but lately, I haev not seen much action.
Any suggestions?
I also like THE CLUBS in Dallas TX and Columbus OH.

I was at the East Side Club in manhattan about 2 weeks ago with a friend of mine. My first experience at one of these places...I just turned 21. We went in, paid like 20 dollars each for a temporary membership. Then we went into the locker rooms to scope out who was there. Not many at the time...we made our way to our actual little room...well I paid for the room and he just got a locker, being that we both were plannon on using the room. When we walked down the hall a group of 3 25-30 year old men walked by and went into the lounge. When we got to the room we immediately shut the door and began making out. It was my idea to take it easy tho...I calmed him down by removing his jeans. We both took a seat and began removing each others clothes. I actually made him leave my see thru white puma pants on so everyone could see my tightie whities. It was his idea to open the door back up so people could see in the room -- he was in his white hanes and i was in my white see thru's with my 2xists on. He opened the door and we basically waited for someone to come in. For about 20 minutes we waited and no one came in. When we had enough waiting the undies came off and we started fucking. I was on top of him drilling him overhead as another kid about 23 or so walked and was watching for a few moments in his passing. A few other guys stopped to watch but no one came in. After we both came the first time we put just our undies on and walked from the room to the shower...that got attention. My freshly fucked ass in a pair of white briefs was quite teh scene. After the shower it was a towel walk to the room where we put on our fresh underwear and went to the tv lounge where about 15 people or so were. A member of the staff actually asked us to put our towels on. We did. We then went back to the tv lounge and were asked in about 5 minutes by these three dominican guys to take them off. We laid on the couch together for about an hour watching ESPN. We left about 9pm. I am looking to go back..great time.

I never made it to the East side club. it sure sounds like it is worth a visit.

Haven't been to a bathhouse in years but used to go to them in Texas and California. Now that I'm older, I may not get lucky, but that's okay because I like to watch too. Videos are fine but watching it live is even better.

I have been a member of Steamworks for almost 2 years now but I have to say that the Chicago location is not their best. It is expensive to park and the music drives me crazy. Plus, the water temprature is usually way too hot.
Maybe I am just getting old but I probably will not return there for a while.
I much prefer the Clubs. Much bigger romms, usually have an outside pool and much more mellow plus usually free parking.

I've been to bathhouses and saunas in the States, Sydney, Brazil, Paris, Amsterdam, Prague etc. but never here in the UK, too shy! I think of saunas as holiday or business trip sightseeing, not a regular thing, a way to meet locals. You get very mixed experiences even in the same establishments at different times of the day and week, sometimes they are dead other times very active, sometimes everything is going on behind closed doors, other times in public. Steamrooms, not saunas, seem to get everyone going. I think London is pretty much the same as other world cities from what I hear, hit and miss, gaydar has stolen a lot of business.

Worst for me was a place in NYC, Guiliani may be a 9/11 hero but he hammered the sex establishments, the place was rundown and staff were going round warning about misbehaviour, was like being in an institution. The best IMO is Rio, maybe because I am a blond and blue eyed Scot and therefore different colouring from most I find myself fighting gorgeous men off, and they are very passionate and not mechanical about sex.

Have visted the CLUB in St. Louis. It great placce well maintained with great crew. They have made few changes added glory holes and video theater. If in St. Louis check it out and enjoy one the Clubs.
