O.K. so the models are really hot (or at least some of them, others are just generic looking), but the fucking leaves a lot to be desired.

First, they never deep throat or even try, they just put the dick slightly in their mouth - be real men!!

Second - they can rim, it always just light licking - get in there!

Third - They really can't kiss, they just flick their tongues at each other, where's the passion guys.

Forth and final point - they don't fuck properly, they never put the cock all the way in and they're always in really predictable positions - doggy or on their back.

I realise that watching Lukas Ridgestone and Dano Sulik fucking is nothing to be sniffed at, but it is still never as good as it could be. Rant over. :grrr:

I find their tongue-flicking hilarious...lol...and ridiculous.

Not only are they in very predictable positions...they're also always in the same positions in the same order it seems. They have a set routine for all their models and it just keeps going round and round.

And too often it seems like their bodies are identical...same size, shape, same amount of hair...

The only guy that actually would probably keep me awake would probably be Sebastian Bonnet, because he tries to have a personality....as goofy as it may be.

:rotflmao:

I was expecting something completely different when I was looking at the thread title.

I think they need a volunteer to show them how to get the job done.
Any takers?

I understand your point and don't disagree with it. However, I look at it differently. All these separate porn production companies have unique production styles, types of models, camera angles, musical soundtracks, script formats, etc. To me Bel Ami has tried to develop its own market niche by focusing on young, beautiful boys in a more romantic, less raunchy approach to sex. And obviously, they have been very successful doing so. So why would they disrupt a winning formula. I am a fan....and for my money, no one is a better technical fucker in porn than Dano Sulik. But, I get your point, and am not arguing with you.

I definitely agree. I think it's just like they have a checklist to get through. Do this, do this, do this, do this, switch, do this, do this, do this, do this, cum, end scene. Throw in two new boys and repeat.

Yes, mercuro put it quite rightly.
Take Fratmen too: all the videos follow the same drill, but the art is in the different looks and character of the different guys, and the different variations they make on and the camera gets from that given track.

What I hate of most Bel Ami guys is that they are more goofy than spicy, like the Spice Girls who were launched as men-eaters and ended up acting in birthday parties before pre-pubescent girls who took them as role models. I´ve said many times that what really struck me from those blue eyes of Lukas R. was how empty their gaze was/is. Of course, boys will be boys, men will be men and dicks will be dicks... and I admit I still can watch some scenes from Bel Ami videos, but I got rid of everything except a scene featuring a particular blond.

I strongly feel that those bodies, those ages would be a blast in guys with a wordlier, classier approach to erotism: with just slightly cleverer minds.

^ I remember thinking the scene in which Dano gets stuffed by a daddy sarge was one of the hottest ever... until I watched all of it: the effeminate bitch grimaces are bad enough, but the first approaches, the chewing gum... ewwwww

I think the problem w/ Bel Ami is that their main focus is on the twinks. They leave the story and acting out because it's about what the guy looks like.

I stopped watching Bel Ami a long time ago, Eurocreme is the new thing on the scene, their vids deliver everything I look for in good porn.

When I watched Bel Ami stuff, I often wondered if the guys even enjoyed sex at all. Of course, many gay porn stars are just doing their time so they can get into straight porn, but still. It's like watching dead fish flop around. Maybe they play a cd throught heir heads while they're going at it.

That's a cultural thing. I discovered it on my first trip to Prague. The boys just don't see anything erotic in the idea of ramming your tongue as far as you can down the other guy's throat. It takes a little getting used to, but after a few nights, you adjust!!

When I first discoved Bel Ami I thought they were remarkable. The models were naturally in great shape: guys who played sports as opposed to spending 5 hours a day in the gym. And of course the uncut factor was a major revelation for this adolescent American wanker.

However, I feel differently today. With a few notable exceptions, I can sense the existential detachment in the models as they perform: lovely to look at, but no sense of passion or intimacy.

While Bel Ami is to be credited for de-raunchifying porn, and improving some production values, some of their other production values are appauling, namely the saccharine Europop soundtracks, and the obviously overdubbed moans and grunts.

I've become a big fan of the 'amateur/fratboy' porn sites, in particular Sean Cody Corbin Fisher, and Blake Mason (to feed my still unabated passion for foreskin!) They don't let production values get in the way of the action. I feel like I'm watching real intimacy, though I realize that this perception is probably the result of clever editing.

I like it... I like the playfulness, the laughing, the casualness of it. But then, I don't watch enough of it to notice the sameness. I really think the same can be said of any particular director's or studio's work... signature positions, signature looks, signature sounds can become tiresome after you've seen too much of it.

Variety is the spice of life! I like to temper my Bel Ami with old Cadinot and vintage Catalina, the occasional Falcon production old or new, a little Kristjen Bjorn and bit of Chi-Chi LaRue. Not to mention all these internet things. All of the above I can come up with a few complaints about, and when I start noticing the flaws, I put that tape or DVD to the back of the stack and start something new. Keep changing it up and you won't get bored.

I can't agree more. I prefer Bel Ami for those reasons.
