Big Brother 17 is coming in just 13 days.

I hated that Jordan won. As much as I can't stand everyone in the house now except for James and Meg, I would not be happy with her winning or even making it to F2. She's a nice and fun girl, but is not playing the game and for that she should not be rewarded.

This is season has become soooo boring. Most of the time I'm not in favor of the producers trying to re-direct the game. But, someone needs to do something quick. I'm to the point where I don't think I'll finish watching the season.

I agree roadtripboy. They had no problem influencing the game with the pairs twist at F6 in BB13 or with the coup d'etat to Jeff in BB11. Why on earth haven't they done the same thing this season? They should've done everything possible to get Jackie back into that house as an obvious way to boost the James/Meg alliance. For god sakes, the same boring alliance NOBODY likes has been in power for three weeks!

I hated that Jordan won, too, and I hated the coup for Jeff. I think that was what threw Chima over the edge.

I know they said at the beginning of the season there would be a surprise twist every week but that only happened twice, I think. It seems a little late now for them to do anything except something to save James, if they would. You take him or Meg out right now and you have left deadhead boredom. As little as I watch other than the CBS show, all I get is some Vanessa shit which is so recycled that she should pull her own plug. And they whiney twin voices.

I could go for a Coup d'état about now!!! ..|

With everyone packing their bags for this week's double elimination, it would be a perfect time for it.

It would be cool to see James or Meg win the Coup, take the two nominees off the block, and nominate Austin & Liz with Liz as the boot (all three Austwins are such vile creatures). Then, James or Meg can hopefully win the second HOH and send either Austin or Vanessa out.

I cheered when I saw James had won the veto. I guess I am rooting for him now. It sucks that Meg will pay the price though. I wish Vanessa's paranoia would just make her take out Steve. He's easily primed to win this season, how can they all not see that?

I don't think Steve could sit as final 2 and give reasons why he should win. He is so dullish and doesn't do shit for the game. I would think anyone with a voice and logical thought process could beat Steve.

Anyone who doesn't look at Vanessa as the winner should she get f2 is nuts. She would pull out every thing she or anyone else had ever done and counter it over and over and over and over.

The threat is Austin and Liz. Julia bitched that Meg had not won anything, well neither has she.

I am a longtime fan of Big Brother, but I wouldn't say I'm an expert at the whole strategy thing, or what it takes to win the game.

Maybe I'm missing something, but to me, this seems to be the biggest bunch of idiots they've ever cast. I don't see a single person left in the house worthy of winning the game. The one I would say comes closest would be James, simply because he's the only one who's shown he's got the balls to actually DO something in the game. He's still an idiot for aligning himself with the weakest, can't-win-a-challenge-to-save-their-lives players thus pretty much sealing his fate.

It's inconceivable to me that, as a house, they would allow a three-person-showmance-on-steroids (man, woman, and woman's IDENTICAL GODDAMNED TWIN) to get this far in the game, with no potential alliance on the horizon to take out the three-headed monster.

Why the hell couldn't the supposedly brilliant poker player Vanessa see that, once Austin started fucking Liz, and that Liz's twin sister entered the game, that this put her at the very bottom of her own alliance? Maybe she couldn't see it because her eyes were constantly clouded with the tears she seems to be crying constantly.

And don't get me started on Steve. I have no sympathy or respect for anybody who's response to winning HOH is to sob uncontrollably and to quiver in fear like a little bitch at the thought of taking out a strong player, thus resulting in the nomination of the two weakest players in the house. I literally am disgusted at the sight of him now.

Meg, worthless. You'd think they'd want to keep her in the house and drag her to the final two to ensure a win, but that would actually take some forethought on somebody's part.

Johnny Mac, less than worthless, and actually kind of creepy during his live interview with Julie, without the benefit of editing. At least Meg realized early on that she can't win shit, aligned with a group, and stuck with her group. Johnny Mac seems to have no plan or strategy, and is just winging it, lurching uncomfortably from alliance to another, and always on the bottom of whatever group he half-heartedly tries to align with.

It's hard to picture a scenario in which one of the Austwins doesn't win...probably Liz. I can't stomach the thought of Austin winning. He's one of those idiots who thinks his showmance is the real thing, and will probably sacrifice himself for the benefit of Liz's game. Somebody who has to beg the HOH not to be voted out...not to continue playing the game, mind you, but so that he can get to the jury and spend time with his showmance, does NOT deserve to win.

Or, maybe I'm being too harsh on these people, and there's something I'm not seeing. I don't know. But to me, at this point, they all seems like clueless idiots who suck at the game.

very well said man

i dont even watch the show anymore, just come here for already predicatble updates i know.

CRAP CRAY show CBS

they are ruining big brother

I will never understand writing off somebody like Meg as worthless and a good opponent in the end just because she doesn't win comps. Like, this is a reality TV series that Jordan Lloyd has won and Meg's 'game' of being nice to everybody and legitimately non-threatening socially/competitively is awfully similar. Plus James, Jackie and Becky are all locks to vote for her when you only need 5 votes to win.

Not only that slip but WILL FUCKING KIRBY famously never won a comp. It's classic BB sexism (both in and out of the house) that someone like Meg is now regarded as unworthy of a win while Will can be regarded as the best player of all time. Like, I get that he's more strategic than her but honestly, anyone who watched BB2 knows, he wasn't exactly skulking around and making big moves. All you need to win this game is get to the end and be likable.

That said, I'm not sure Meg has Becky's vote. James and Jackie for sure, but Becky was really only close to Jackie in that group and I can see her re-teaming with Shelli in the jury house (who no doubt hates Meg for siphoning some of Clay's attention away) and blasting Meg for "not doing anything" if she gets to the end. Kinda like Shelly inexplicably voting for Rachel on BB13. #neverforget

I would love to see Vanessa put up Liz/Julia as a replacement pawn to ensure Meg goes home only to have Steve/JM get a clue and join James in booting the twin to break up the OBVIOUS FUCKING THREESOME in the house. But that would be asking too much of these players. Go 'head Vanessa and claim that money girl. You were coked out of your mind all season but you deserve it.

Meg is worthless not because she's a woman, but because she's not doing anything...unless you consider "being nice to everybody" as "doing something". She's not making things happen, she's not strategizing, she's not creating new opportunities or coming up with any ideas. She's just there, smiling and being sweet, which I realize makes her likeable, but it hardly makes her a good player.

I agree that Jordan was just about the lamest winner ever, but even she won 2 HOH's and a veto comp. Meg isn't even a factor in any of the comps whatsoever. She can't even compete to a point where James can let her win one.

If by some miracle she winds up against, say, Austin, or Liz, or Vanessa, or James in the final two, what can she possibly point to as being worthy of winning the game? "I grabbed on to James's ass and held on all summer?"

Last night's broadcast was a perfect example. Vanessa comes to her and James to talk about nominations. Instead of her sitting down and explaining the scenario to her (as in, "bitch, what the fuck are you thinking? Do you honestly believe any of those three are going to stick with you over each other? Two of them are FUCKING, and two of them have IDENTICAL DNA! You need to move against them NOW."), she just plays dumb and then thinks that she and James are safe.

There is always at least one of these players that manages to get reasonably far in the game. Sometimes they're women, like Meg, or Victoria from last season, and sometimes they're men, like Spencer from the racist season, or Joe from the season that Ian won. Gender has nothing to do with it.

But everybody has the type of player that they like to watch. For me personally, I hate players that rely exclusively on a so-called "social game". In fact, I hate the whole idea of a "social game". Give me a challenge beast. Give me a somewhat-likable villain. Give me someone who has a plan b, c, and d and who can re-adjust their strategy on the fly as the situation in the house changes.

Being nice to everybody so they'll vote for you because you were nice? Meh.

Dr. Will is a completely different story, because, a) the game was brand new when he won it, and b) he wasn't "nice to everybody", in fact, just the opposite, but he still won.

Last I saw, dumbass Steve was muttering to himself (as usual) about how it still has to be Meg that goes home, because still it's too early to go after the Austwins, and that he wants to win HOH next week and somehow find his missing nutsack and put them up. We shall see. With this group, I'm not optimistic.

I am not optimistic about Julia getting voted out. Jmac said he would go after Meg which showed me he is as blind as a fucking bat, and Steve (god, who knows about this dimwit)? I agree with Dingo at Hamsterwatch. The only way Julia will go is if Vanessa tells them to vote her out. Will she do that? No, unless she is hiding something from the world, and besides she is a trainwreck of emotions about everything.

I never understood why they worked so hard to get the twins in while everyone else knew and did nothing to get them out. DoDos.

If these people fail to evict Julia than one of the twins deserves to win. That is all.
