I am a longtime fan of Big Brother, but I wouldn't say I'm an expert at the whole strategy thing, or what it takes to win the game.
Maybe I'm missing something, but to me, this seems to be the biggest bunch of idiots they've ever cast. I don't see a single person left in the house worthy of winning the game. The one I would say comes closest would be James, simply because he's the only one who's shown he's got the balls to actually DO something in the game. He's still an idiot for aligning himself with the weakest, can't-win-a-challenge-to-save-their-lives players thus pretty much sealing his fate.
It's inconceivable to me that, as a house, they would allow a three-person-showmance-on-steroids (man, woman, and woman's IDENTICAL GODDAMNED TWIN) to get this far in the game, with no potential alliance on the horizon to take out the three-headed monster.
Why the hell couldn't the supposedly brilliant poker player Vanessa see that, once Austin started fucking Liz, and that Liz's twin sister entered the game, that this put her at the very bottom of her own alliance? Maybe she couldn't see it because her eyes were constantly clouded with the tears she seems to be crying constantly.
And don't get me started on Steve. I have no sympathy or respect for anybody who's response to winning HOH is to sob uncontrollably and to quiver in fear like a little bitch at the thought of taking out a strong player, thus resulting in the nomination of the two weakest players in the house. I literally am disgusted at the sight of him now.
Meg, worthless. You'd think they'd want to keep her in the house and drag her to the final two to ensure a win, but that would actually take some forethought on somebody's part.
Johnny Mac, less than worthless, and actually kind of creepy during his live interview with Julie, without the benefit of editing. At least Meg realized early on that she can't win shit, aligned with a group, and stuck with her group. Johnny Mac seems to have no plan or strategy, and is just winging it, lurching uncomfortably from alliance to another, and always on the bottom of whatever group he half-heartedly tries to align with.
It's hard to picture a scenario in which one of the Austwins doesn't win...probably Liz. I can't stomach the thought of Austin winning. He's one of those idiots who thinks his showmance is the real thing, and will probably sacrifice himself for the benefit of Liz's game. Somebody who has to beg the HOH not to be voted out...not to continue playing the game, mind you, but so that he can get to the jury and spend time with his showmance, does NOT deserve to win.
Or, maybe I'm being too harsh on these people, and there's something I'm not seeing. I don't know. But to me, at this point, they all seems like clueless idiots who suck at the game.
