One of my friends turned me on to a black, gay storyline on a tv show called L.A. Complex. The show originally aired in Canada and then the C.W. started airing it. There have been two seasons (or a fragmented first season with a break after the first few episodes) and the Canadian channel that originally aired it has passed on more episodes, so the future of the show is up on the air. The show has several storylines. I never watched it on television, but someone isolated the gay storyline.
Never before have I been so compelled by any gay storyline. The acting is brilliant and it is 100% believable. On L.A. Complex I think the story is more well-rounded because it shows how they function in society as opposed to just focusing on the relationship/intimacy. I don't think very many people know about the show, but here are the clips. Enjoy!
