"Bold & Beautiful" Darlene Conley (Sally Spectra) has died...

Aww, that's a shame.

I always liked her in an 'over the top gay camp' sort of way.

Frankly, I could never really get into 'B&B', but I thought that she stole
every scene she was in.

She'll be missed. I hope her friends and family find peace.

I never watched The Bold and the Beautiful that much , but I do remember when she played Rose DeVille on The Young and the Restless way back in the early 80's... The character of Nina moved into a home for unwed mothers run by Rose. Unbeknownst to Nina, the home was actually a blackmarket baby ring. Just before her son was born, Nina had a change of heart about the adoption. But Rose abandoned Nina on the delivery table and kidnapped her newborn son. He was never found again.

Shortly after she left Young and the Restless, Darlene Conley began her role on The Bold and the Beautiful, but I never could get the visions of the nefarious Rose out of my mind...

A great actress...

Ned the Y&R is also where I remember her from as well.

"Sally" is/was an icon of Day-Time Soaps!

What a role she played ALL these years and did it so well that you either loved or hated her.........NO in between! lol

I have a BIG ole lump in my throat right now, from just thinking of NOT seeing her anymore!

Oh, I know. It's horrible. It's so shocking because right up to the end, she gave the same full-fledged, vibrant, completely powerformances that she had always given. She wasn't weak or frail looking, even at her age. She could hustle and bustle and lay down smack better than all the rest! To know that someone so full of life is suddenly gone... to me, is just shocking.

To know that I'll never see her on daytime again makes me incredibly sad. The lady was brilliant. She's a part of my childhood!

And, is it just me, or does anyone else think that she would've made a BRILLIANT "Ursula" from The Little Mermaid had they ever made a real life version? LoL
