I wasn't trying to disparage all of the elderly on here, just thought I'd try that as an excuse for him, rather than the less flattering, more likely scenarios.

I may be elderly, (First time anyone has called me that BTW) but what's your excuse? Supporting an obvious war criminal regime, denying us our rights, and destroying the world's opinion of our country?

I don't understand why the dems aren't beating the bush admin over the head with this by his own mantra "you're not supporting the troops by not passing this bill" keep saying this ad nauseam.

bush has done a terrible job in the war on terror, he squandered the worldwide good will we had after 9-11, hell even the French said "We're all Americans". he and his stubborn, go it alone attitude has left us isolated and nearly broke and are we really any more secure than before ?
