Your tee is pale yellow like the color of sunsets Your shorts are a dark murky green matching the color of seaweed and your socks are pale white like the pale moonlight on a dreary rainy night Your boots are scuffed up with baked-on dirt Your brother come out to place the wood in a neat pike he s wering shorts and tank-top too his shirt and shorts are a matching dark brown the color of pnds holding 30 or more years of sentiment His unmatchable tube socks are pale creamy green like the color of oxidized copper the color of a statue in the park in town

You don t seem to be concerned about dressing in style What you are wearing is not stylized at all You are wearing a SUPRAsTYLE FASHION

Eventually Virtual
Camp Sporaticus becomes brick and mortar
Camp Sporaticus where you walk the beat on the street If you ve always been in search of your own theater well it s already here
You ve got a theater with no overhead costs On Sunday afternoon at 2 outside a closed library an old abandoned parking lot And you re willing to perform there until the cops or security shoos you along You pick the spots in your hood and make them your theater
[The WKMA jingle is heard In a hayloft of an abandoned barn out in
the country Marti is interviewing Napoleon and the Supra-Heroes
giving them a chance to be heard and understood]
Marti
Not many people out there listening understand how you have
magically miraculously changed from a hunk of energy stone to the
Gargoyle Incarnate
Napoleon
I ve come to life in order to call out even name talented and diverse individuals to read and perform in ways they never thought possible To create thoughts feelings and actions To evoke images When a Supra-Hero reads raps sings dances he is magic he is a miracle
Marti
You are the seer who sees and is seen
Napoleon
The ones I see don t need to search for heroes because they are already heroes no matter who or what they are no matter where they ve come from
Marti
You are calling them out inspiring them to aspire to become rebels with causes You are all living a classic story about protagonists vs. antagonists good vs. evil
Napoleon
Choose any duality you want Marti One cannot exist without the other Rebellion must be constructive and creative in order do battle against status quo egos and the paradigms that dictate our lives
Marti
And you re battling beliefs
Napoleon
And belief systems
Marti
Belief systems that make us live on auto-pilot

Before the end of the year you re all going to have the opportunity to read my blog and my book SUPRA-HEROES ROCK SPORATICUS NOW So now I wanna talk about the FENCE
As you read my stuff you re going to get feelings of homo-eroticism and if you do well that s none of my business I'm on a higher plane now The fence is there to keep me from going over-board with this misconception of homo-eroticism Therefore, I never climb over the fence because that s means I m falling into the lower plane the gutter perversion fetish and on and on...

Supra-Heroes Rock Sporaticus Now is a theatrical and fashion work in progress You ll read about SupraStyle Fashion This is retro gear, short shorts, tank-tops, combat boots, and tube socks The fashion is designed to emphasize the size of the thighs Gotta see those guys showing off their thighs Without the leg fetish thing [over the fence] My monologues and dialogues you will read on my BLOG are approaching the fence but never climbing over

Napoleon
We are so consumed by gimmicks and gadgets distracting us from the true energy source You me the Universe consist of the same energy If we can get everybody to realize this then everybody can tap into their own high energy source whether they re high-powered executives or penniless homeless street urchins
Marti
Every life is valid
Napoleon
Sporaticus is the city you live in Sporaticus is the center of the Universe Now is the time to wipe out every dirty spot that s been ingrained in the carpet for years to resolve to seek the innocence we were born with
Marti
What is your mission
Napoleon
To stand behind the crystal-clear podium and not only proclaim our intention but also to take action To stay on purpose even if it means exploring and embracing the unknown
Marti
Going off the beaten path

:gogirl:Camp Sporaticus is intended to be a wood-splitting work camp where campers our Supra-Heroes will come to manually get in shape by splitting wood using axes wedges maulers sledgehammers
Each day huge piles of logs scattered on the hill above the swimming pond will be split and placed in neat piles and the wood will be seasoned there for six months before being distributed to any family or organization in need of firewood for the winter
Each camper will be taught the proper use of each tool to perform this 2-hour manual wood-splitting session so there are no injuries to any camper An ample supply of water will be available for each camper to avoid dehydration Then after each session these tools will be cleaned and safely stored and locked in a shed nearby
Campers are needed especially the ones who say I ve never done anything like this before

SupraStyle Fashion is worn even during the wood-splitting session Campers are to be dressed in dark denim cut-offs dark earthy tanks and tubes wearing protective work-boots as they split pound and maul logs into neat quarters After a few days of this work-out routine their limbs are glistening with sweat highlighting rippling toned muscle and tendons The 2-hour chore is as good if not better than any workout at the local gym
As campers line up to put their tools back in the storage shed we are seeing a gathering of Supra-Heroes ready for a nice late-morning swim in the swimming pond before they change into fresh clean SupraStyle gear to prepare for theatrical monologues dialogues scenes and stage-fighting dances consisting of Flex-Punches Duck-Punches Chisel-Punches Lasso-Punches and roundhouse lefts and rights

Time to finally use the first person pronoun [but still no punctuation] If the powers that be were to only offer jobs of manual labor which means no computers no phones of any kind no great invention of mechanical technology only jobs that require the use of my blood sweat tears and muscles I would be a wood-splitter I would chop wood for a living and I would chop wood like a pioneer on the old frontier I would get up every morning and eat a hearty breakfast put on my wood-splitting gear pack a few shirts to replace sweat-soaked shirts during my work-out a towel or two to wipe the ocean of perspiration from my face and to dry the sweat off my bifocals a gallon or two of water that sat in the freezer the night before and an assortment of rags to clean the caked-on dirt off my tools and work-boots I would then climb into my Baby Blue Tank with all my wood-splitting tools and drive to Camp Sporaticus to greet my campers who are wet behind the ears and have no idea of how to use a mauler properly who would swing it like an ax and wake up the next morning with a dislocated shoulder and mentor and guide them into the rhythms vibrations and flows of the art of wood-splitting on a warm summer day knowing they will be cooled down by a swim in the swimming pond wearing BeachPatrol swimwear
Many of the campers are nt going to like this wood-chopping wood-splitting wood-placing regiment at first I know I didn t at first Unfortunately on the first day of camp there will be a handful of campers copping out quitting and leaving camp even before the first swing of the ax
Let me tell you about the first time Dad took me behind the barn with a two-man saw to saw large branches on a saw-horse he had built Within the first ten minutes of doing this chore I had had enough and started to walk away from the tool from the saw-horse and worst of all from my Dad Suddenly he grabbed me from behind by the collar and tossed me over the saw-horse where I landed on the ground at his feet Needless to say I got my ass back on the other side of that saw-horse took hold of the other handle of that two-man saw and helped my Dad saw that first branch into firewood for the winter Dad could ve let me get away with it He could ve let me walk away but he grabbed me by the collar and made me do something I didn t understand or appreciate at first That two-man saw was the first tool I ever used and that moment evolved into manual labor
I ve grown to love

I can still hear the different pitches of that two-man saw grinding into those logs as they were placed on that expertly-built saw-horse I pulled the saw and Dad pushed the saw Dad pulled the saw and I pushed back I can still see and smell the piles of sawdust accumulating underneath the saw-horse Those were piles of progress And now the two-man saw is a relic on display in museums
I gotta give to get back and forth back and forth like using that two-man saw like hearing the sounds and pitches and music of the two-man saw
Camp Sporaticus is about taking musical journeys I remember back in the summer between 2nd and 3rd grade when the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show My mother was cruel Bedtime back then on a school night was 7:30-8:00 PM Anyway on a school night the Beatles appear on Ed Sullivan and I had to miss it because I had to be in bed dammit This was history I was missing out on I missed the Beatles Thank God for summer re-runs because that s when I got to see them on Ed Sullivan I got to see history being made even if it was a re-run No school night

I remember that kid a friend of mine on Lovingston Drive several doors down He had the Meet the Beatles album and I remember getting in trouble because I got home late but not before tasting this delicious apple ice cream while listening to that album five or six times The kid's mother was so nice and tolerant listening to those songs over and over again I Wanna Hold Your Hand Hold Me Tight All My Loving It Won t Be Long All I Gotta Do They even covered on the second side of the album Till There Was You by Meredith Wilson a song from The Music Man Unforgettable time In fact this kid's cool mom said when I was leaving knowing I was going to get in trouble for not being home by Just tell your mom you forgot the time
So an unforgettable time really turned out to be a forgettable time forgetting to get home on time
Suzie the baby-sitter had the album too and my brother and I would go up to her room whenever my parents went over to visit her parents and listened to it along with the A Hard Days Night album fabulous 4 music from their movie A Hard Days Night Suzie seemed to have all the vinyl albums and I can still smell the smell of the heated plugged-in record player I can hear the sound of the record flopping down on the turn-table and I can hear her Beach Boys and Peter, Paul, and Mary Puff the Magic Dragon and Kingston Trio A Worried Man To me back then at age 8 the Beach Boys could nt hold a candle to the Beatles No group could Even those marvelous bands who showed up during the British Invasion I am so happy and grateful my parents brought me into this human experience at the time they did

Music is not only memories Music is history and at Camp Sporaticus we explore this history and the invisible moods of music passed but never ever gone I must tell you my history dates back to transister radios 8-Track cassettes and hi-fi stereo Now these relics are on display in the Camp Sporaticus museum right beside the two-man saw
For one special week one summer back in the late 60s-early 70s my brother went away to be a counselor at the church camp we went to every summer Camp Calvary with Pittsburgh DJ Charlie Apple somewhere in northern PA right along Lake Erie It was one week without dealing with King of the Hill sibling rivalry vying for the attention of my parents That week I got all the attention That s the week I m beginning to learn that I could be an attention whore just like anybody else One special night not a school night my parents treated me to a gift as good as or even better than a night at the drive-in or out for a butterscotch-dipped ice cream cone at the local DQ Mother Dad and I were in the den where the hi-fi stereo was and they pulled out a case of old vinyl 45s and played them for me I remember that night like it was yesterday Technically it is yesterday and technically it is today
I don t remember the music of Ben Light but I do remember his records were made of this beautiful red vinyl I do remember the music of Frankie Laine a powerful emotional voice singing I Believe I remember Edie Gorme Blame It On the Bosa Nova and I remember Domenico Modugno
Nel Blu Dipinto di blu (Volare) That night is yesterday and that night is today

After a cooling invigorating swim in the pond the camper are on their way into the Rec Hall and are getting ready to go through the praxis of honing and toning and sharpening their talents As Camp Director it is my duty to keep fresh up-dated written material for them to help them embark on their heuristic journey into Life Theater One of my best exercises is allowing them to ease into the scripts and then give back a proximate response by offering them the possibilities and opportunities to share with us their own ideas and input to offer true and fabricated stories as I am offering them based on life experiences Monologues become dialogues and dialogues become scenes and sketches of self-discovery No camper must ever feel obligate to act He can act if he wants to step up to the plate and bring it to the table and to perform with abandon Each two-hour session in the Rec Hall is just like utilizing the two-man saw a constant energetic flow of push and pull The first hour is designed for self-discovery and then after a 30-minute break for lunch or refreshments the second hour session is a continuation of the first hour The entire amount of time spent at the RecHall will go so fast that no time can be afforded to waste

If any camper is under 18 he must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to camp My material is for mature audiences and mature talented performers

Give and take Give to get Push and pull This is pure energy that becomes the driving force of the action to take place in the Rec-Hall activities
I m sharing my work with the intention of welcoming responses from the campers and then they won t hesitate to share their material whether or not its remotely related to my material Remember we re talking about the art of transitional thought here Camp Sporaticus is designed to begin the praxis of sporadic transitional thoughts which means introducing and incorporating
fresh up-dated material from everyone in the room If a camper is a writer as well then let me read his work aloud too

Don t just say Feel it Pretend it Make-believe it Bustin' heads incorporates the fight in the museum which ends Episode One in Supra-Heroes Rock Sporaticus Now exploring Fist City Punch-Rap Every camper gets a crack at it switching roles doubling up on roles since we re going to explore the different pitches and sounds of voices And this introduces the King of the Hill contest We all remember playing King of the Hill when we were kids pushing and pulling playmates off a hill or a huge log to see who s left standing on top King of the Hill in Camp Sporaticus is a healthy competition among campers without petty jealousies and sore feelings The script I m responsible for providing serve as blue-prints and invite unscripted impromptu input from the cast of Supra-Heroes As CD [Camp Director and Creative Director] my intention is to induce campers into creating their own stories and POVs into the process and then the Rads and G-Rayss see what the Lightnings and Phoenixes are doing which leads them to do what they re doing better Hence King of the Hill Contests occur everyday in the Rec Hall

Pieces or segments of dialogue between mentor and protege evolve

into sketches skits which evolve into a 2-hour talent show to

determine which Mentor-Protege team is King of the Hill for the

week long session So we have 2 hours of wood-splitting 2 hours of

seimming and other forms of recreation where campers split up into

2-man teams find a way to make their 2-man saws sing and product

the best pile of sawdust

Napoleon So I can be either a Supra-Hero or a Zapper and nobody will know not even Incognito which one I am at any given moment I infiltrate both camps

The Zappers don t realize that while they re busy plowing up the streets of energy stone they re helping us because we can use every piece of that broken up street to make medallions so we all have protection against the KokINAXINoL

That s a great way to promote a necessary accessory for SupraStyle Fashion

Camp Sporaticus has it s first camper Bobbie Trevi de Carrillo

Bobbie did nt make the transition of being a YOU to a Not YOU In the last several months Bobbie has shattered his own belief system He started out quite truthfully as a Not YOU [I m too little and too young] and now his outstanding talent and efforts as a model and photographer has changed him from a resistant Not YOU to an assisting YOU As you can see his images really enhance this blog page He took the time to have the guts to model my SupraStyle Fashion

For all you aspiring models I want you to pay close attention to Bobbie Trevi de Carrillo He was a protege yesterday and today right now he is a mentor He knows how to do the hard work just like a wood-splitter His magic gift is a miracle and I am so grateful I ran into him because he is a gift to me He is not only a model Supra-Hero but also an icon for Phoenix

The Sporaticus concept isn t proclaiming to present unique thoughts and ideas but is articulating what you may be thinking and cannot articulate You have tens of thousands of thoughts per day, which you may not be able to put into spoken or written words—thoughts that pass by. Sporaticus is a process and the art of articulating transitional thoughts Yet, Sporaticus is many things including but not limited to a philosophical and theatrical concept a place a different plane as well as an affirmation, visualization, and a manifestation.
In Part 1: Sporaticus Now! my intent is to utilize the second person You not only in an attempt to draw you in as the reader but to invite you to imagine me standing in front of a mirror reciting all these pages as one long affirmation and visualization and then finally an end-thinking future-pulling manifestation

Sporaticus may not be for everyone and is intended to separate the Yous from the Not Yous to shatter your comfort zones and belief systems
Sporaticus is being on-purpose and being on-purpose involves being on-stage, but only after you invest the time back-stage watching and studying your reflection in the bedroom or bathroom mirror

Sporaticus is journeying embarking on a long trip along many paths of self-reflection and self-contemplation My intention is to invite you to travel on sporadic paths even when you re not feeling ready to travel along rivers and streams of energy and creativity or not really ready to search those paths not yet cleared so that you have to find your way through heavy brush and briars

Well here it is 8 months into the book writing and I must say when I wrote this Preface back in April I had no intention of writing a Part Three but that has changed because this tour de force is evolving as I am writing In 2009 you could say that this book idea started out by writing a Sporaticus Handbook and now I am finishing up this project filled with sporadic transitional thoughts with the Camp Sporaticus Handbook I feel this compelling intent during the final four months of 2011 to devote myself to writing this handbook with the purpose of enlightening my readers with a virtual as well as a bricks and mortar Camp Sporaticus with both camps designed to promote the exchange of ideas between a diversity of talented campers

Part Three: The Camp Sporaticus Handbook is a vision to be manifested and brought to fruition The handbook is intended to be part of this off-the-beaten path textbook complete with instructions for each camper to change his physiology to shatter the belief system that his talent and creativity is in any way limited to convince him that his aims and goals can be reached and exceeded
The handbook introduces more poetry and prose and characters my mind has created before setting out on this creative journaling and journeying For anyone who reads this book from cover to cover please note that the last written page you read just before the back cover does not bring you to the end but to a beginning
