Can anyone recommend a good comedy?

I second Josher's recommendation: Modern Family is fantastic. Also try watching Happy Endings. Lately I've been really getting into 2 Broke Girls on CBS, and Fox's New Girl with Zooey Deschanel is really good. As for British comedies, sorry,I can't think of any off the top of my head, except for Extras with Ricky Gervais.

A funny TV show would be Arrested Development if you haven't already seen it. Or It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Or 30 Rock.

I think I've seen some episodes of Arrested Development but that was almost 10 years ago...is Jessica Walter still in it?

Jessica Walter also voices a character in Archer. She's wonderful!

i also gotta recommend the Modern Family. Gloria is one of my favorite females on TV in a long time. her character is SO wacky and charming at the same time.
