That Labour government is the one that rebuilt Britain after the miseries of war, and remained in power for as long as the post-war boom held its sway. I confess that this is one of the best descriptions of the Thatcher era that I've read. She and her cohort Ronnie unleashed an era of iron willed greed.

After doing stand-up comedy at an oen mic night just once, I was asked to fill a slot in a regular comedy night - as in, I'll be listed as one of the performers, and I'll actually get paid. (Not much, of course. Probably enough to buy me dinner that night.) Part of me is stoked beyond belief, but another part is a bit worried. I'll need ten minites of material for the gig, and I only did three at the open mic. So I've been working on a set, and I finally decided to time it to see how much material I have.

...seventeen minutes. Damn it. Now I have to start editing.

I find guys with waist-long dreadlocks terribly sexy... as log as the dreadlocks start from their foreheads... :cool: :rolleyes: and if he is a pretty blond, I eat him up with my lusty stare, as happened last year, under the rain, when one of them was entering his home with a bike and such an innocent, guileless look on his manly face.
 
My view of islam nowadays; USA speaking:

I think we should quarantine them inside a district with electric fence. They can do whatever they want except traveling out. Meanwhile we observe their whereabouts from that huge petri dish for certain amount of time; how they maintain their socio-economic, etc. It's the same thing we did to Japanese-American community during "yellow peril" wave in WW2.

At least the Japanese were up against their stereotype and proved themselves to be beneficial to society around them.
Let we see how "Islamic culture" build themselves (I doubt) or plotting to destroy country they're live in. We never know. Let see how it's turn out because nowadays they're nothing but a shitload of bad ideas :##: . I can't trust muslims..even the meek and mild Brunei Darrusalam approved stoning gays and took samples from Sharia laws. They just can wish Im not their leader :rolleyes:

Depends on what you mean.

Were they what you might call "objectively cute"? No, probably not. You wouldn't find them modeling. I doubt if they walked into a bar, they'd turn any heads. And I can guarantee that you wouldn't find either one attractive.

But that's speaking to the world at large, not me. What I find attractive and what your generic gay man (or straight woman) finds attractive rarely overlap. For instance, I can't say as I ever looked for, or cared about, a "cute face". In retrospect, my first boyfriend had a fairly cute face, but that wasn't what drew me in.

A lot of people think that about all the Chinese and other Asian populations in the US as well. The yellow horde and all.....

Both male. :) And I guess I'd need more info on "clean in all respects". I don't know their HIV status, but I would've gone in presuming they were positive, just for safety sake. But that didn't alter my decision any. One was clean-shaven (including body), one wasn't.
