On Friday afternoon, a meeting was held in CW Studios with studio executives and the board of trustees about the future of CW. "Reaper" was the only show which was saved from being pulled from the air this last week, but the other three shows (Aliens in America, Gossip Girl, and Beauty and the Geek) they're fate seems unknown.

"America's Next Top Model" seems to be their highest rated show right now, by bringing in an average of 8 Million viewers each week, and it continues to raise.

A deicision was made on Friday to being back the summer flop, Hidden Palms for 16 episodes. They have replaced the writing team and held back all but one producer. "We're bringing it back, but in a new light."

The board of trustees overthrew Dwan Ostroff's deicison on a few new shows. A pilot episode written by Angel creators David Greenwalt and Joss Whedon (Also known for Buffy), for a new drama about Willow. The new show called, "Willow" has been given the greenlight and ordered 12 episodes to be put into production before Halloween.

Stars Alyson Hannigan has already signed onto the pilot and apparently David Greenwalt, executive Producer of 'Willow' is finalizing deals with several other Buffy and Angel stars, including some other's. Rumor had it that he was looking at a star from the TV Show "Charmed."

These two shows have been sheduled to appear this April and run entirly through next June. Also failed show, "Bedford Diaries" has been considered to come back next summer, but they are not as willing since main star, Milo Ventimiglia, has signed a two year contract with Heroes.

Wait Alyson Hannigan is in How I Met Your Mother, so is she going to leave the other show other wise I'm calling shenanigans. Probably wishfull thinking by some fan in that case the should also bring back Veronica Mars and Reba.

It does sound too good to be true. I remember some other guy posted the bit about Star Trek dumping the "prequel" idea for the next movie, and that turning out to be just a rumor, as well.

I doubt any of this is true. :^o

and wouldn't "Willow" contradict with the Buffy Season 8 comics? aren't they supposed to be canon? also most of the characters from the Buffyverse they wouldn't be able to bring back anyway. David Boreanaz is on another show, Sarah Michelle, i really don't think see her agreeing to come back even for guest spots, Emma Caufield had them kill her character Anya specifically because she didn't wanna be asked back. what would be hot though would be a spinoff featuring Faith.

Yeah, don't you think she is SOOOOOOOOOOO glad she picked "Tru Calling" over the offer for a Faith spin-off now?

:p:p:p:p:p:p

Ummm none of this seems true to me. A network wouldn't bring back shows that flopped miserably even if they're struggling. Also Alyson Hannigan has a good thing going with her EMMY nominated sitcom why would she just walk away from that to revisit something she's already done? That is if she's even contractual able to get out of HIMYM

Tru Calling was good but it got screwed big time. Instead of putting in the former Buffy timeslot where now millions of her fans had nothing to watch FOX put her on Thursday at 8 against then number one ranked SUrvivor and the last season of Friends... yeah that show stood half a chance at building a fan base.

As long as there's no link attched then it's just a rumor.
How about Joss bring "Firefly" to CW. I would really love to see that happening.

Plus, with Joss finishing Astonishing X-Men, picking up Runaways, while writing Buffy Season 8, I think he'd be way too busy to write a Willow spinoff.

I work for TVGuide Network, as a fall internship for college. I came across this information, and stand by it. But only time will tell if this plays out or not.

Not to mention he's also taking on directing the "Wonder Woman" movie.

Ok, i was updated in another thread that he's(Joss Whedon)backed out of the project...hmm..go figure.

I miss Tru Calling :( A Willow spinoff would be cool but yeah she is already on another show so wonder how that will work.

Calling your bluff. Networks either order 6 epis as a trial, 13 as a part season or 22 as a full season. I've never heard of 12 or 16 epi orders.

Why would Milo want to leave a hit show to a show that might not even gonna make it and probably with less money too. It's very rare that a network pick up a show that they axed unless it goes to a different network.

None of this makes any sense. And if I remember correctly you posted a "pitch" for a charmed spin-off you claimed to be in talks for and it was just an obvious fan vid that for some reason also included shots of Jensen Ackles too.... dude I'm sorry but you're just not a credible source.

that sounds fishy on many different fronts.

the only shows i want them to bring back are Firefly and Veronica Mars. I dont even care about those other shows.
