Desperate Housewives - Season Five

I don't think Dave has anything to do with Lynette and Tom. Tom was Kaylas dad and Kaylas mom was seeing that other dude. I just think that Dave is going to work his way into each of their lives until we find out who he is after.

i've been catching reruns of the earlier seasons and still think the George connection's a good possibility. i'd forgotten how crazy that guy actually was. then again that would be almost too obvious, with George and Dave having the last name. whatever happens i'm sure it'll be just as anticlimatic as all the other secrets that have "rocked" Wisteria Lane over the last few seasons.

Something just struck me.

Why were Edie and her husband at the dinner party for Danielle and her family? Just to ask the college question?

Edie and Bree have never gotten along and Edie and her husband hardly know Danielle. I don't even remember Edie's husband interacting with Bree and Orson before this, except when Bree met him with the other housewives.

It seems strange to me.

Edie is Benjamin's great-aunt. Thats the only reason I can come up with.

You're right. I'd forgotten about that. Doesn't explain Mrs. McClusky's presence though. She and Bree have never really interacted before. And even if Andrew was seen at the door by some people, he wasn't at the table during the meal which is pretty ridiculous.

I think the last name is a coincidence. Williams is a common name. It would be extremely far fetched to have this as a plot point not only two seasons after George killed himself, but 7 years in the show's universe.

you're probably right. i mean after all, everyone knows this show is all about the believable plots...

Bree probably felt bad for her spinster friends Katherine and Karen, so she invited them to dinner. ;)

One of the worst shows on television. Truly. It's shrillness and hideous politics can only be matched by its unyielding dullness. I can't believe it's still around.

Well, it's #2 in the ratings and the highest rated scripted show on TV, so it seems a lot of people might disagree with you.

I'm anticipating that this is the year Gabi and Carlos (and Orson) finally learn that it was Andrew who mowed over Carlos' mom.

Wait til Edie finds out that Danielle's baby is her nephew's child. Hopefully that will stir things up and bring back her nephew. He was nice to look at.

she already knows. she used the info to try and blackmail Bree at the end of last season. it's why she got ran outta town.

The show use to be pretty good it is very boring and stupid now , and that gabrielle and carlos being poor shit is getting old

At the very end of last season----when they first showed the 5 year jump ahead---some of the characters (mainly Bree and Susan) had seemed to have matured (personalitywise) which I thought was great! Now, in this new season, we are seeing the same old, same old, in each of the characters....Whiney Sue, and It's-All-About-Me-Bree.

It's Gale Harold. Hope he gets better.

Quick question, is he gay or straight? He was such a good actor in Queer as Folk, and also did a lot of "gay" stuff that I assumed that he was gay.

Gale is straight.
Several of the QAF acrors were straight,
including Hal Sparks (Mickey), Scott Lowell (Ted) and Harris Allan-(Hunter)

Mike and Gale Harolds character seem to get along great....i hope the writers have them hook up;)

Marc Cherry as said he wants to wait they know more about how long Gales recovery will take before making any decision. Cherry did say however, that they will in all probably have to rewrite Gales part in the seasons finale show.

I hope Gale Harold is going to recover. He was great in Queer as Folk.

This show has gotten very dull and boring. I prefer Brothers and Sisters.
