did anyone find the movie Lost Boys homoerotic?

i was so young when this movie came out but i found it very homoerotic at the time. the relationship between david and michael in particular. when they first meet, michael is mesmerized by david and can't keep his eyes off him. at the time i had no idea about sexuality, so i didn't think much of it. i just accepted that michael was in love with david. then the girl comes along and it was kind of awkward to me that he slept with the girl. and when michael finally kills david, david cries.

i know gay people always read into things wrong. but my straight friends agree. we find top gun very gay too.

And who can forget the concert scene on the beach with that muscle hunk half naked singing.

It could be I suppose. When David always appears to be seducing Michael, it's easy to think "is he simply luring him into the vampire clan, or is he also trying to suck Michael's dick?"

That movie is one of his (very few) good movies. Although with a better director it could have been a better movie.

Corey Haims character seemed gay to me. I mean, he had a poster of a shirtless Rob Lowe on his wall and wore a multi-colored bathrobe, among other things I can't think of right now.
