Do You Accept Celebrity Anti-Gay Apologies?

I've never gotten a homophobic impression from the guy at all. In his book, Slash says that he and his friends would hang out at a gay couple's house when they were growing up. If he had a problem with gay people, I doubt he would have done that, or been very happy living and working in LA, for that matter.

Slash meant "gay" in the more juvenile "that's not cool/masculine/hard rock" way, not in a bigoted or hateful way towards gay people. I wouldn't compare that AT ALL to someone wishing a horrible, violent death toward a gay person because of their sexuality.

And there it is.

lol stop. No one is shooting anyone because of something Tracy said.

I don't think Tracy Morgan truly hates gay people or would actually stab his son if he was gay. Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm too lazy to go find a transcript or whatever), but didn't he say that he'd stab his son if he came home crying about being bullied and not standing up for himself...not necessarily that he's gay? I thought he was trying (and failing) to goof on the topic of teen/child bullying.

Basically, Tracy was attempting to pander to a Tennessee crowd that he thought would be homophobic and ignorant, and was sorely mistaken. Ultimately, I don't think he meant what he said considering the people he works with on a regular basis. What he said was still despicable, and not funny in the least. That's what he gets for being lazy and trying to play on the fears and bigotry of others. He should leave that to the Republicans.

get a life people.

I have a friend who is straight, and not homophobic at all, and I love it when he calls me fag and all this gay insults, mainly because he says them with a cute straight smile *|*

so, I guess, I just want to say its no big deal.:D

When I was younger and I would pick on my brother, my mom would make me say "I am sorry" to him. I never meant it, but I did it to please her.
I believe the same goes here.

PS I mean it now cause I love my Brother, that was just an example of stupid shit in my life.

NOt when they're fake and unsincere, which is what I believe Morgan's apology tour is.
