Do you believe in God ?

Well it can't be proved scientifically either way yet. So I'm agnostic and wouldn't give a shit what god thought of me if he's a vengeful asshole.

Hasn't been demonstrated scientifically either way does not mean the two sides have equal probability of being true.

Either way you have to take a leap of faith over the probability gap. At 3 sigma the statistical probabilities become overwhelming. But the existence of a traditional, monotheist god is a joke.

I do believe in God. The reason is that something can't come out of nothing, someone had to have created the universe.

Here we are discussing the matter of first cause, an academic debate that can never produce a verifiable answer.

The real question is not about what started everything, or how long everything that exists has been going, but rather what keeps everything going. With this thought in mind one can begin to understand that there is something that is responsible, for all that exists.

Speculating on the cause, and effect can produce mind boggling arguments with scientists, and philosophers providing us with an enormous amount of material to ponder over. To quote a brainy thinker, the question "What was there before the Universe?" makes no sense for the concept of "before" becomes meaningless when considering a scenario before time began, to be able to relate to ones own life, measured against the passage of time since the "beginning" of everything that is in being.

Relating to the source of everything that is in existence, in my opinion is much more constructive a discussion.

This is a scientific question and i believe science already answered it.

Belief in God is not a scientific question at all; it's a question of faith.

As a trained scientist, I've seen nothing which leads me to accept even the possibility that God exists. The question is whether I'm prepared to set aside my scientific principles and accept God anyway, essentially because the Bible tells me to. The answer, as someone who regards the Bible as complete mumbo jumbo, is of course "no".

Here lies your question...answer it....

...before some one tells us, that your participation here, will never provide an answer.

Your question was "what keeps everything going"
The answers depends on the specific question.

But the claims are very scientific.
Water turns into wine is a scientific claim.
A person walks on water is a scientific claim and ... etc

I'm sure God is a big stoner and sucks a mean cock. Do you think God is a top or bottom? Maybe vers?

No, these are just assertions, the "science" only starts after someone else has successfully reproduced the experiment.
