Do you tend to get upset over trivial things? I certainly do. I had my feelings hurt on JUB. It was a minor incident, but a crushing blow to my self esteem and sense of belonging. I'm still trying to work through it. I wish I wasn't so damn sensitive!

I know I'm not the only person who gets upset over minor things. What minor things get your blood boiling? Maybe it's a long line at the bank or having a waiter get your order wrong.:grrr: Perhaps it's the fact that "child proof" packaging is also "adult" proof!](*,) Tell me, what silly things have you gotten angry over?
 
It's the little stupid shit that really gets me going.

People with their brights on - the blue light on the dash DOES NOT MEAN your headlights are on!
The guy buying $200 worth of lottery tickets during lunch time at the white hen
Drivers driving below the speed limit.
Red lights
The sweet 16 shows on MTV

Being treated like a thief when I buy a CD: It's hard enough getting the thermosealed plastic wrap off without scratching the CD, but then you've got that plastic adhesive crap on the top which never seems to go away.
 
I find that there is really very little, major or minor, that gets me upset anymore. I have learned to pick my battles and I have also learned what is important in life.
 
Opposite experience from hoody -- I get more annoyed at little things and let the big ones just float on by.

Anything annoying on the computer -- like a program that makes you go through ten steps to do something when one would be enough. Or when JUB hangs (which happens a LOT -- I have dialup). Or when a program crashes for no reason and doesn't bother giving you an error message.

Or here's a good one -- I open my browser and get a message saying "We are unable to connect to www.google.com. Is it possible that you've spelled "google" wrong? People do make spelling errors sometimes, you know. Or perhaps that website doesn't exist or has moved?" Anything but -- "hey dummy, you forgot to dial up first" which you'd think they could check very easily. Both IE and Firefox do this.

I once picked up an HP laser printer and hurled it to the floor, for no better reason than that it was obviously deliberately designed for maximum paper jamming. That one cost me a bundle, but you know what? It was worth every penny. I'm still glad I did it to this day. (!)

However, there is one thing that can tick me off at the snap of a finger, and that is someone who outright lies to me when I know they're lying and catch them at it.

My roommate is a prime example. He must think I'm a complete idiot when he tells me he wasn't drinking in the bathroom for the past 2 hours when the bottle was full when he went in and empty when he came out.

I'm like Judge Judy. If I catch someone in a deliberate lie which serves their own purposes, I will suspect everything they say after that. Even if it's the truth, I will treat it as a lie until it is proven otherwise.
 
Immaturity pisses me off. I have two step-sisters and one of them, I swear, is a seven year old trapped in a sixteen year old body. Ugh, she is so immature that she really just bugs the hell out of me. Other than that, not much upsets me.
 
Oh, and the fucking music on the ice cream trucks.

Its not the minor thing itself which irritates me as much as its the impetus or motivation/desire of the person doing that minor thing (which they hope irritates me) which then upsets me.

At times I get upset at small things, but there are many small things that upset other people, which I don't worry about at all. I sometimes have a bit of light-hearted way of dealing with certain things...so one word from someone can ruin my day while a failed exam might hardly get me upset.

I tend to worry a lot though.
