It's all about perfectionism. If you don't do it, it doesn't have to be perfect.

I actually just (unintentionally..seriously) procrastinated replying to this thread...

So yes...I procrastinate with almost everything I do, because I either overthink things before doing them or just set them aside from pure laziness I guess.

Actually, there are also times, especially with school work, that I'll start something early...not get all that far, but give myself the illusion that I started early and well...and then procrastinate again.

I have a very bad habit of putting off important jobs, meetings, ect that need attention. It has cost me literally thousands of $$$ over the years .... for example: Not having my mother get her affairs in the proper order when she started to become ill ... she passed away and it ended up costing me over $35,00 in legal feees to get what she wanted me to have from her estate ...

Being a consummate oldies-music fan (and in fact being self-employed in that realm as well), I found that to be one great quote! I never heard it before - I assume it was on an episode of her show that I missed. Thanks for sharing!
