Don Cornelius has died

My condolences to his family and friends.

Hard to believe that he'd commit suicide @ any age let alone 75. Don had a powerful presense and always embodied such strength. His health issues appeared to be more than he could bear. So sad, so unreal.

Don will always be remembered as a Pioneer, Smart business Executive, Muisc Royalty and The Godfather of Soul-Music Artists. His contribution to Music and American Culture is forever etched in our minds.

3-Generations of my Family watched Soul Train and the Award shows & Music Specials that followed...

I wish someone would have been there to tell him to hold-on.

Sad indeed........a most unfortunate way to end what was hopefully a good life --- "Pioneer" is a good word but doesn't seem to cover all he did in his time.

God Bless .

So sad! Like JoeMyGod said today on Michelangelo Signorile's show, Soul Train was my first gay bar! We knew we connected with a lot of the guys on the show for some reason, but we weren't quite sure why at that age!

I hope that one of the GRAMMY Producers has the brilliant idea of doing the "Soul Train Line" featuring Entertainers in Tribute to Don...

It would be awesome to Open the show with the Soul Train line-dance or close it that way...
