I forgot to mention that Dr. Laura seemed to go back and fourth and at times contradict herself on gay issues. She would water down her comments on Larry King or the Today show, but then on her own radio show she would spit out the most vile hate you could EVER imagine. (I. E. "Rights??!!! For SEXUAL DEVIANTS!!!) and then there was the whole "gays are biological errors who molest little children" comments. At one point, she offered an insincere "apology" and then rescinded that. She said no one should donate money to fund AIDS research because "gays deserve it" or words to that effect. She went back and fourth on gay issues so often and would modify her remarks to fit the situation. And by that I mean she would "soften" her prejudice on TV and unleash all her venemous hate FULL FORCE on the radio. Sometimes, not often, but sometimes rigid homophobes come around. I just wondered if she had changed at all. She has gone back and fourth so many times and contradicted herself on these issues so often, it would be very hard to tell if there has been any real or meaningful change in her attitudes.
