Ethnicity and body hair

I'm predominantly English (with some German, French, and Irish thrown in), and I don't have very much body hair. Well I've got hairy arms, legs, thighs, and all the other places, but very little on my chest, just a few hairs between my pecs, and a treasure trail.
My beard comes in scraggly and thin, although I have to shave daily.

What I can't understand how could you put up with face beard stubbles, it must be like kissing cheese graters.
Men from southern Europe all the way to India & Afghans very very beardy. I pity the wives or the male partners
to be stuck with beardy men.

Worse some guys have perfect hot and smooth bodies but they ruin it with tattoos. I mean the beautiful uniqueness of the
guys, original from the womb. Why would you ruin it?

wait so.. people with stubbles or beards don't deserve to be loved? Are you really trying to say that people who are hairy are the last resort and people ending up with them are to be pitied? I mean.. wow.. lmao..

Stubbles are sexiest thing I find in a man tbh. Anyone looks good in a stubble. Absolutely anyone. A ridiculous amount of people out there LOVE hairy men. Women appreciate having a hairy man (degrees vary) rather than having a smooth hairless baby-like partner.

what makes 'smooth' bodies perfect exactly? I don't get your point of view.. and tattoos can do wonders to a guy's body.

geez. you're so... so... vanilla.. .-.

yeah...you see some people losing their shit when they think smooth guys and "shaving" is being attacked...but at the same time, they expect no one to say anything when they call hairy guys (or body hair in general) "gross". What the hell ever. Don't get me started.

^See, I had the opposite reaction.

I hate threads like these because one idiot starts talking shit on hairy guys, then other idiots counterfail with this whole "REAL MEN ARE HAIRY" rhetoric.

Those opinions are all of the same ilk to me.

It's all about having pride without attacking the other side.

Or you could just view it as everyone has different preferences rather than one side has to be right/win..

There are things that are gross to me, body hair isn't one of them (I guess unless it's really unsightly or something) but the fact that I don't start threads or post about the full entire list of them doesn't mean they aren't there in my head, as preferences. And I presume the same is true of you and everyone else.

Personally, I like both hairy and smooth guys. If a guy has a nice amount of body hair, it would be nice if he didn't shave it. If he's naturally smooth, then I like that too. It all depends on the guy, really.
The only thing I really don't like is full beards and long (head) hair.

..| I find this topic more and more provoking to the level of religion, sexism, homophobia, racism, etc. :) Especially in gay porn sites.

I absolutely cannot stand people who are obsessed with hair even though I know they exist/can't be changed and I'm sure they feel the same about people like me !oops!

What I cannot stand even more is those who think by just growing stubbles/beards or having a hairy body makes you sexy similar to just so you have a big dick doesn't make you automatically sexy overall.

Do women like them?

Based on the disaster it was earlier this year for both Adam Levine and People Magazine when they announced him the 'Sexiest Man Alive' I would say - No.

Most of the negative comments involved his tattoos.

I think Adam Levine is sexy as hell. It isn't just his looks though...it takes a lot more than looks to make a man sexy. He is really cool and I love his vibe and that makes him very sexy to me. I think when he did "Moves Like Jagger" I began to think he was sexy.

Funny thing...most of the "sexiest men alive" I don't even find remotely sexy...he is the first one I can remember I agree with.

Well, like I said...when the subject of body hair comes up...if people want to start throwing around the word gross...don't get irritated when others respond in kind.

I agree with you though that one can have "pride" without attacking the other side.

and btw, I would never say something so idiotic as real men are hairy...but if you want to start shitting on hairy guys, I can find just as many unappealing things about being "smooth" (especially the ones who shave) as well.

QFT. :)

Variety is the spice of life.....

That said, why should body hair be tied to ethnicity? I think it is more a matter of genetics and heredity than anything else.
Just thinking about my own family, it varies based on various genetic factors. One of my grandfathers was a nearly smooth skinned Sicilian. The other was hairy. My brother and I ended up with more chest hair than our father has. I have several cousins who are nearly smooth too. We're all of Sicilian genes. One set of cousins that I have are a mix of Irish and Italian. They are just as hairy as I am.

I have seen hairy Brits, and smooth men of Middle Eastern descent. I really believe that it varies based on a number of factors.

Funny thing...most of the "sexiest men alive" I don't even find remotely sexy...he is the first one I can remember I agree with.

LOL right? I just roll my eyes and keep it moving.

celebrities get a "boost" because they're in the public eye. Most of the time one can easily find "sexier" guys walking around your town.

Looks are subjective, but some of this sexiest men alive bs is obviously just comes down to what celeb do we think is (semi-)huge right now and how can we bring them even more good press?

To me he is the least sexy 'Sexiest Man Alive' ever chosen by People Magazine. I don't find Johnny Depp, George Clooney, Bradley Cooper, etc sexy but Adam has to be the least and it's mostly due to those tattoos. Although his cocky face and scrawny figure don't help either.

Although I find this saying 'it takes a lot more than looks to make a man sexy' double standard, what exactly is Adam's other qualities? I like his singing but other than that he's neither hilarious nor terribly intelligent. (Plus his fake lovefest at Victoria's Secret with Anne Vyalitsyna and now Behati Prinsloo was so cringe worthy!) Anyway even if we are to consider more than sex appeal, there are so many more talented sexy men who deserve that title not him.

Yup...I agree....totally subjective. My idea of "sexy" is always different ...I would pick Michael Strahan (from Kelly and Michael)..I think he is the sexiest man on TV...or maybe Colin Kaepernick

Hell...a lot of things about him are sexy as hell. I like how he moves...I like his innuendo...I like his eyes...I like his attitude... I like his voice...I like his talent...I like in his interviews what he says about gay people...I like his goofiness...I like his smile...I like his occasional shyness...I like his vibe in general....

That is exactly what I said when they gave that title to Adam.

There were four people who would benefit from it -

- People Magazine

- Adam himself and he had a new clothing line coming out.

- Behati Prinsloo/Victoria's Secret - Behati (whose father is a Namibian minister) is such a celeb wannabe and VS is forever a PR slut!

- The Voice.

Doesn't make him sexier than a lot of others though.

I just Googled Michael and Colin and (*S*)

Now I see where you're coming from :dead:
