I think millions of teenage girls will vote for Finland!

So, First Semi final is over and I must say it contained some VERY surprising results....
The qualified countries are:

* Azerbaijan
* Finland
* Georgia
* Greece
* Hungary
* Iceland
* Lithuania
* Russia
* Serbia
* Switzerland

I was sooo happy to see Switzerland, Iceland and Serbia go through to the final.... and the guy from Finland is extremely cute and cuddly.... :D

The surprise was that none of the cheesy, up-beat, sing-along songs got through; Poland, Croatia, Norway, Turkey and most surprisingly Armenia, very catchy song.....

Can't wait to see the second SF and the final... so excited... :D

I am surprised about Armenia, too. Glad that Poland and Turkey didn't make it .. boooring! But azerbaijan and russia were also really boring. Georgia, Switzerland and Hungary deserve it though. Greece was kinda a mediocre song - despite the hot singer ;)

Rooting for Hungary to win!!

I like Switzerland and Serbia as well though.

I wanna see who Germany gives the 12 points to now that Turkey is out of the Finals. :D

^ haha .. who knows :) personally I would vote for hungary or estonia (if they succeed today).

yesterday we were at the promenade/river walk at the rhine where a small "pink wednesday" event was. right said fred performed live on stage ... but we considered them to be quite boring ;) we strolled a bit towards the old town, met many ESC fans .. explained some south american guy that those big ducks are geese :lol: met a couple from australia - they are having their honeymoon at the ESC! later at the irish pub in the old town we saw the british contestants "blue" they were talking and taking pictures with fans :)
then we headed home and saw short but big fire work in the middle of a small pond in the city, and almost at home we saw the azerbaijan delegation with their van at a traffic light. it's amazing over how many performers you stumble!

Oh wait Azerbajian is in the finals, so maybe that country. Turks and Azeris are linguistic and religious brothers. :D

Estonia, Slovakia, and Israel are my favorites for tonight.

Wow, interesting. :D

OMG, Australia and Eurovision Song Contest, I first saw ESC in 2006 while I was in Australia actually. But really, there's actually people there that LOOOOOVVVVVE it.

tonight my favorites are Israel, Estonia, Romania Ukraine and of course Slovenia, Maja's voice is amazing...... Hope they all qualify... :D

Wait a second, I hate the new remix of Israel's Dana International.... Why did she ruin the song....

he's really cute!!!!!!!!

Well, this second semi final didn't have as many surprises as the first one.... The qualified countries are:

* Austria
* Bosnia & Herzegovina
* Denmark
* Estonia
* Ireland Rep.
* Moldova
* Romania
* Slovenia
* Sweden
* Ukraine

Before the show I really thought Israel's Dana International would make it.. But her live performance and the new remix weren't good at all.....

I'm hoping Ukraine, Romania and Estonia do well in the final.. Can't wait til Saturday.. :D

Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary are my favorites

I'm pissed, Dana should have won. Diva!

Many people had high expectations for dana .. but sorry that was just boring. the gay crowd in düsseldorf cheered a bit.. but not much. everybody went nuts for sweden, estonia and ireland.

and i have been keeping my eyes open but those damn twins are nowhere to be seen in the streets. would love to meet them. blue were boring ;)

Ireland were rather good and the background graphics were brilliant.
Denmark and Finland though will be hard to beat.

Re: Eurovision commentary

I think that boy gusher from Finland will win, lol!
