David was probably my favorite--loved Mark, such a hot guy and the "new" Becky.
 
It depends at which point in the series you're talking about.

For example, Darlene had a dry wit and fantastically snarky sense of humor about her in later seasons. At the beginning, though, she was an annoying little instigating brat.

The opposite is true of DJ. In early seasons, he was this neat, quirky, offbeat little kid. Unfortunately, he ended up being sort of brash and belligerent later on.
 
I chose Darlene. But she, Roseanne, Jackie, and Bev made the show for me. I mean, Bev's shrieking voice and over-the-top, repressive demeanor was priceless!
 
DJ was such a cute little kid in the first three seasons. He cracked me up! After that, he just kind became either a throw away character or even annoying.
 
It's Jackie for me, she's the only one who stayed funny even in those HORRIBLE last couple of seasons.
 
I'm suprised Dan didn't get more votes.

I forgot to put Becky#2 on the poll. I liked the 2nd Becky better because she was less whiney. Either way, I don't think they would've got a vote with all the other characters to choose from.
 
Christmas morning I was watching an episode from the last season. Dan had gotten a christmas tree for the family. I never really noticed this before but the acting department was lacking. It just seemed like they were basically just there to work rather then enjoying the craft and entertaining the viewers. Maybe the new at this point the show was coming to an end and did not care. Dan was acting silly like he was making the story up as he went along, and then Mark says something and then laughs about it even after they have moved on from there. The only part of the show that I found were there was some acting going on and it was felt, was when Roseanne gave Dan the deed to the house and he burned it. I even got emotional watching it. Regardless of a few crappy episodes, Roseanne is still my favorite Comedy.
 
I watched Rosanne primarily to get my David fix (not that the show wasn`t hilarious. The day I got an authentic nude photo of Johnny Galecki was a great day.
