Favourite chocolate bar

I started the thread because on Holywood Game Night, there is a game about identifying chocolate bars and there were chocolate bars that I haven't seen in Canada, or I haven't noticed it in the store, '100 Grand, Payday' etc . . . (we might have Payday)

I've been eating Chocolove's Almond and Sea Salt in Dark Chocolate bars lately. At $3, they're a good value. I don't go down the quality scale from there too much, but I'll also enjoy a Ritter chocolate bar.

If I want cheap candy I don't go for chocolate. I'm a total fanboy for Japanese Hi-Chews, though. :luv: Apparently, the range of flavors available in Japan is larger than the six flavors we get here: mango, peach, green apple, cantaloupe, strawberry, grape.

I did a little more research into the Kit Kat post that I made earlier.

Kit Kat was originally a product from a UK company called Rowntree. They had licensed Hershey to make and market Kit Kat in the United States over 40 years ago.

Later, Rowntree (and all of its brands) was sold to Nestle, which took Kit Kat world-wide.

That is why Kit Kat is a Nestle product in every country except for the USA.

What I wouldn't give to have a body like that... ah well. I'ma go get me a Milky Way and cry into my pillow... ](*,)

I like Kit Kats and Twix. Especially since Kit Kat seems to have changed their formula here recently along with new packaging, and the chocolate tastes better.

Endangered Species dark chocolate:

"the monkey bar" - 72% dark chocolate - OR -
"the bat bar" - I think that's the one with 72% dark chocolate, with cacao nibs
"the black panther bar" - 88% dark chocolate

Extremely hard to find...pretty much only in health food supermarkets (such as Whole Foods)...not cheap, either.

Sometimes I'll prefer the 72%, sometimes I'll prefer the 88%.

Surprise...it's made in Indianapolis.

I'm into the dark chocolate craze right now. Trader Joe's Chocolate Lovers 85% is really good, and relatively inexpensive.

Anything milk chocolate just tastes like sugar to me now.

Supporting local industry (from my home state). Besides, I love the white chocolate and the cookie crunch.

Off topic, but on the candy front, Ive mentioned this before and I'm not trying to make this racial.
When I was a kid, my sister and I would buy 'n_gger babies' and I can't believe that's what they were called. This was in Canada, 1972

When I was a kid my school and a bunch of others got to go to the local symphony. After the performance each kid got a Symphony candy bar. It is a good memory for me and has nothing to do with the topic. lol

Anyways I have never seen those in stores. Do they still make them?
