Jessica Lange is the reason I started watching it..she is perfection. I think she is the greatest American Actress alive at the moment. I fell in love with her when she did FRANCES.

..and she is why I didn't turn it off the last couple times. It is getting a bit too dark for my tastes. The Nazi stuff and the skinning women alive stuff was a turning point for me and now that I realize how dark a path they are going on I have lost interest...but Lange still rocks and I will tune in to see her.

I liked season one a whole lot better.

Yes...relentless is a good word for it. I am surprised that the writers haven't' toned it down a bit...maybe a little payback for the evildoers would be just enough to keep it interesting. For instance...let Lana escape...

I've been slowly watching this season. A few episodes behind. I forgot to dvr some episodes. Since FX decided to be internet unfriendly this season it's been challenging to find the episodes to watch for free. No, I'm not going to buy them from iTunes when they aired on cable for free. I swear, some of these companies are killing the internet.
 
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy Satan and the Nazi took a swim in the oven....the two of them were almost too evil to watch anymore....they need some more shades of gray and saying bye bye to those two is a good start....

Jesscia Lange fucking rocks it...she outdid herself tonight.....The Name Game...the whole time I was watching it I was thinking DAMN She's Good...

I can't figure out if the devil jumped into the Priest or not? Since we saw the sweet nun just before he pushed her over the edge I was thinking maybe Satan had entered him instead. I hope not...I would rather have some garden variety evil dominate the rest of the season.
 
I'm so disappointed there's no gay this season though. We already have enough lesbians on tv. What we lack is gay characters, so it sucks that Ryan Murphy decided to go down that path, but oh well. I don't really care about this season since there's no gay, but I guess he managed to draw in the straight male audience because of the lesbian storyline, so he got what he wanted, because the ratings are up from last season. I still won't watch though.

I found the scene with Jessica and The Name Game from last night...it has Emmy and Golden Globe written all over it...

 
I LOVED last night's episode. Jessica Lange is sooo good. She needs the Golden Globe award this year like noone else. The Name Game sequence was really a surprise and gave some musical releif to the intensity of the show. I'm surprised to see Sister Eunice ("Happy Satan") and the Nazi go into the oven together. This show keeps surprising us. I love Wednesday night again.
 
Yeah it was surprising especially when there are just 3 episodes left. Would have thought it's a middle of the season or finale type of scene.

It's difficult to imagine it without them but I have faith they won't let me down. I'm hoping this means more screen time for Zachary :)
 
Last night was just a little too strange for me. I was more into Chicago Fire than AHS. Im slowly falling off, just like I did in season one.

Next week I will try to watch it again.

I am sorry that I missed The Name Game though.

I was thinking the same thing. Is it a requirement for there to be a gay character in shows for you to watch it? And there does not need to be a "lesbian storyline" to draw in the straight male audience. The story line does that well enough.

Anyway, I thought the episode was great. Although I'm very sad Sister Mary Eunice died, her/the devil was probably my favorite character. I am glad the Nazi is gone, I just wish he was exposed before he went. The Name Game was FANTASTIC!

Also, apparently Ryan Murphy included a hint for next season's theme in this episode. Any guesses? I'm thinking the Salem Witch Hunt because the jukebox played "I Put A Spell on You" and Arden briefly mentioned pagan practices. Anyone agree?

I suppose the Bloody face storyline will be resolved. Also, the whole Alien matter. This reminds me of last season when they resolved the whole matter quickly, leaving viewers to think..What now?
