G.I. Joe teaser.

Time will tell for this one. I am hoping it will be good.

Now Transformers is a different story. That show looks amazing!

G.I. Joe doesn't look bad if you don't think about the fact that it's supposed to be GI Joe and not some new intellectual property we've never heard of before.

And Transformers will ROCK!

Well, I'll go; mostly out of childhood memories and for Christopher Eccleston, as he's always amusing to watch.

And yes, there is some oogling of Channing Tatum, and Ray Park...

I'm sure it will be huge. I'll go. i had all the toys and watched the cartoon. I loved g.i. joe when i was a kid.

They're not 'American Heroes' in this either. :grrr:

I blame Team America : World Police.

Whatever, chances are that it's best in this day and age to represent them as an team unassociated to any government.

They're not 'American Heroes' in this either. :grrr:

Somebody needs to keep up today on there comic book watch! :p (kidding)

Seriously The guys that made the new Transformers comics also have the rights to GI JOE. And they rebooted the series. The new Joe's are made up of international heroes from NATO etc. to fight Cobra...which is basically the terriost version of GI joe.

So YO JOE!!!!!

PS: 9th doctor looks so cool playing Destro!! :D

Saw a preview over the weekend at the movies and this movie is going to be big.....real big.

I looked it up, and G.I. Joe started in 1964 (according to wikipedia):

In 1963, noting the commercial success of the Barbie doll for girls, Stan Weston, a toy creator and licensing agent, came up with the idea of a line of Barbie-sized dolls with a military theme that would be marketed to boys. He presented his idea to Don Levine, the creative director of toy manufacturer Hasbro, who saw the potential of the idea and approved development. The prototypes were originally named "Rocky" (the marine or soldier), "Skip" (the sailor), and "Ace" (the pilot), before Don Levine, inspired by the popular 1945 film The Story of G.I. Joe, decided on the generic name "G.I. Joe."

It's not quite dead, but nobody takes it seriously anymore.

Okay if you look up GI JOE the cartoon. Which the comics, and the new movie is based on you see it came out in the 80's.

I'm not a huge fan, but I got to see this movie. It looks great.
But the movie I'm waiting the most is Transformers Revenge of the Fallen BTW a better teaser is going to be shown before "Friday the 13th"....
