You could tell she was disgusted during the whole interview, because she wasn't being given a chance to talk. By the end, she couldn't wait to get up and get out of there, as she felt she was being given the shaft.

As soon as she held up the Bible for the first time, I thought to myself "Here, we go ... another loony Christian".

I thought her holding the bible should just be good enough. This is the face of the Tea Party. A woman who clearly thinks she still is 10 (hideous bow!!) and I also thinks she can still catch gay.

I never did care for her - in any of the skits on SNL... Hmmm. Now maybe I know why - she sends a negative vibe right through the airwaves.

Bible-thumpers like her are (part of) what gives organized religions a bad reputation.

Celibacy doesn't always work. Rachel said so! :| And things such as teen pregnancies happen. All of those shows that have the outcasts are on MTV. She's just saying rubbish.

The interview looked like a joke. Was she serious or acting? o.o I'm guessing she was serious from the replies...

Part of me think she's being satirical about it, too. . .similar to Stephen Colbert. She once made an appearance on a news program to represent the Tea Party. This exchange happened (anchor is slightly paraphrased):


VJ: Obama is a COMMUNIST!

Anchor: Actually. . .no. He's a moderate democrat who's continuing many of the same policies as Bush.

VJ: Oh. I'm sorry!



That isn't quite verbatim, but I DID laugh my ass off when I heard it. I think her sense of humor is just to be serious and play along in a ridiculous way.

I saw the clip.
She is the most stupid sounding and inarticulate person, I can't believe the tea party loonies and jesus freaks even let her talk to represent them. It's beyond embarrassing! It's funnier than any of her SNL skits.

D-list celebrities, are the worst type of whores who try to cash in on on their diminished fame and bank accounts by using controversy. Dennis Miller, whose career was fading fast with such classics :rolleyes: as Bordello of Blood temporarily made a career out of being an obnoxious and intolerant right-winger. Ditto with Bill O'Reilly while they make their money by exploiting a left-wing medium like TV to their advantage.

They're pathetic sell-outs who try to sell a phony facade: "Look at me. I'm intolerant and controversial and piss people off to get high ratings for my show. Maybe it will be my stepping stone for bigger, better, and more profitable TV shows and movies since my career which died in the 90's sucks so much !"

I have more respect for someone like Newt Gingrich who is at least a sincere right-wing intolerant a-hole, compared to people like Jackson, Miller, and O'Reilly who are insincere phony money-grabbing a-holes who will exploit to make a buck and their desperate attempt to keep their fleeting fame above water!

Her roles on SNL weren't as bad as this. And agree 100% with Lace,D list celebrities have to find a way, any way to keep themselves relevent.

well, the market deicided, and Glee is a hit.

but according to Jackson and her ilk, entertainment companies should not have freedom. They should follow poliburo type orders fromm the tea party.

I agree Dennis Miller was one talentless and annoying conservative tool! I always hated him on SNL and I hated him even more when I found out he was a crazy wingnut. One of the most annoying human beings on earth IMO!

Again, a pop song whose message is far too young for "teens" to sing. If you are this jaded (as the song's lyrics) by the end of your schooling, you most likely have done far too many drugs. You can tell Criss struggles with this song too(it isn't an easy one for a guy to sing well either due to the range). You can hear his breaths in the middle of a phrase which is a big music no-no. At least with this recording above, you can tell it has been spliced to bits.
