Bought myself a small turkey for Thanksgiving this weekend. I was going to buy only a packaged turkey breask and, perhaps, a few turkey thighs, but they would have cost me $15. For $25, I bought a whole turkey.

I should have enough left-overs left over for Christmas dinner.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canucks. Gobble gobble, eh?

I have ham, too, but I wanted turkey as well. Do you buy a smoked ham shank or one of those ham rolls? I love the hickory-smoked ham.

We're doing Ham, Turkey, and all the lovely sides in between. My mom and dad and my baby brother, me, my boyfriend, my boyfriend's Mom, and his little brother will all be present. Plus, all of my closest friends. I have an extra long table so we can do that. I love getting furniture for this house. It makes everything so much warmer. Plus, all of us can come together like a big family. :D

Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian friends. Enjoy the day. When our holiday comes about, will be a happy time. My favorite holiday actually and will have a house full of friends, adopted daughters their signifcant others, kids, and many others. My partner and I love entertaining and the house here is large. Will do the turkey and all the meal prep on an old fashioned wood cook stove (an art to do), just love doing it. Then sitting around and talking and story telling. There is always lots of laughter and good feelings. Thankful for all my "family" here, since my own is living on the East coast and partner's is in SW. Still a lovely day.

Again, hope you Canadians have as much fun and cheer and as many blessing as possible. Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

my dear Canadian friends, i hope your thanksgiving on monday is a warm and meaningful "family" (however you each define family) holiday.

may the meaning of the holday and the season bring you peace and contentment.

A very Happy Thanksgiving to all of you folks up north.
