I have not found many good gay themed movies, most are cheesy knock offs of hetero films like American Pie. I liked Wilde, A love to hide (Damn good movie with two really good looking guys), Brokeback was Ok, Cabaret is decent, Ode to Billy joe made ME want to jump off a bridge. However I have found many good lesbian based movie, I just have to fast forward through the nude and sex scenes.

Logo has decent movies once in a while but there are like four or five and they just recycle them. So if you have any suggestions let me know.
 
i liked Latter Days .... i don`t know the names of the 2 guys but they were cute and i luved Head On with Alex Dimitriades he`s so fuckin hott!!!
 
The best gay themed film I have ever seen is the German film, Summerstrum (or Summer Storm in English). I liked it even better than "A Beautiful Thing."
 
There's a new DVD called "Fabulous" that's a history of gay films in America. It has lots of film clips and great ideas for things to rent.

For something a little different try a French film called "Wild Reeds."

I saw that one, the scene where he accidentally blows his neighbors straight date is hilarious and hot.
 
I liked the talented Mr Ripley. it showed the obsessive state that one can go to be noticed and in control of the object of their affection.
Tho not entirely a Gay film it does have the undercurrent theme.

The best gay movies I ever saw were two of the earliest. "Boys In The Band" is wildly entertaining, with some of the wittiest, bitchiest dialogue this side of m"All About Eve". Even earlier was "Victim" with Dirk Bogarde. When you consider that this film was made in 1961(!), it's incredibly daring for a time when half the population had never even heard the word homosexual.
