So who's been to a concert played by 1d, Biebs and the like? Just curious how many gay guys go to those things. No, I'm not going, but I do like some of their songs (just got an MP3 player with my new phone, so I'm discovering new music).

The closest I have come to it is a stage show called Altar Boyz, about a Catholic boy band. The entire show was performed like a an early 90s boy band concert. Amazingly funny.

I went recently to the Package Tour with New Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees, and Boyz 2 Men. It was a great show and a great concert. Even though these guys are older than the ones you mentioned they still are good. The New Kids put on a spectacular show. There were mostly women in the audience.

Nah. Not my kind of music.

I didn't get NKOTB in the 80's(showing my age), I didn't get N'Sync in the 90's, I don't get One Direction(or whoever's the "hot ticket") now.

I went to the Package Tour, too. And what's-his-face was making out with some random chick from NKOTB. lol

Yes, during one of the songs all the guys from NKOTB selected one woman each to come up on stage to sing to. Donnie Wahlberg was making out with the woman on stage.LOL

Yes, I went to The Wanted concert a few months ago. It was a lot of fun actually!

I've been on a boyband binge these couple days, and no I have never been to one of their concerts, altho I did pass up a few chances to see Backstreet Boys. If they tour again, I will most likely attend one, as I've come to terms with the fact that they (along with many other boybands from 90s onwards) were a HUGE part of my teenage years and I can now appreciate their nostalgic value as I'm turning 30. Back in my early 20's I was only into actual bands and solo singers, almost embarrassed that I was once into this kind of stuff, now when I look at One Direction/The Wanted, I couldn't be more grateful that I lived thru the whole boyband craze in late 90's, those guys were sexy, had impeccable dance moves, beautiful harmonies, and actually looked like men.
