Why? You didn't have to do any of the things one normally has to do when crossing a border. (Or are there passport-control stations on the border between France and Spain?)

Yes, I have taken the train between New York and Toronto and New York and Montreal (which is a lovely trip, though long). And when I've traveled to Belgium, I've usually flown into AMS and taken the train rather than flying into BRU. And I traveled by train once from Belgium through Luxembourg to France -- but, again, it's just a normal train trip, not particularly different than going from, say, Paris to Nantes.

You don't have to stop driving a car. There are occasional passport controls when you travel by bus or train.

Of course! Besides the sex I've had on trips to Europe, India, and Australia, I've had sex with Europeans, South Asians, South Americans, Australians, and a New Zealander here in New York. (Not all at once.) Douglas, my oldest friend, is from Karachi, and I am proud to say that I am the first man he ever had sex with twice.

Yes. And I loved them until I was 15 or so. Now, I want to like them, I think I'd still find them fun, but they make me very motion-sick.

Some years ago, one July, I was visiting a beau in Montreal, and I took him to La Ronde (the amusement park on an island in the St. Lawrence River) so we'd have an extra good view of the fireworks competition that night. He really, really wanted me to go on a roller coaster with him. I warned him, but he kept cajoling me, so I went with him.

I had just eaten a hot dog.
