Heroes Season 3: Villians [merged]

Re: heroes season 3: villians

-touches glasses-

H.R.G.'s check.

-looks in corner to sword collection-

The Kensai Sword is there...

I think I'm more than ready.

Oh, and FYI...The new episode is only two hours long; the third hour is a recap of the story thus far sort of Heroes documentary kind of thing...At least, that's what I recall hearing.

Re: heroes season 3: villians

^^ thanks for the clarification reap!

Re: heroes season 3: villians

Green To Guest on Heroes

Entertainment Weekly columnist Michael Ausiello reported that Seth Green and Breckin Meyer are close to joining NBC's Heroes as guest stars for a multi-episode arc.

Green (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Meyer (a frequent voice on Green's Robot Chicken TV show) will play Atlanta-based comic-book nerds who cross paths with (and perhaps serve as advisors to) one of the title heroes, Ausiello reported.

Heroes returns Sept. 22 with a retrospective clip show at 8 p.m. ET/PT and a two-hour season premiere at 9. (NBC is owned by NBC Universal, which also owns SCIFI.COM.)

Re: heroes season 3: villians

OMG I cant wait!!!!!!!! Season 2 comes to DVD the 26th of this month I believe.

Re: heroes season 3: villians

basically, this show is the only thing that's fresh and entertaining. Adding this new spin to the whole series just makes it more original and worthwhile. Thank God it's coming soon.

Re: heroes season 3: villians

I thought they were just scrapping it and rebooting, much like a retcon because they felt the second seasonw as way off from where they had actually wanted to be.

Re: heroes season 3: villians

eee! don't go here if you don't wanna know!

NBC has released descriptions of the first two hours of the upcoming third season of Heroes, which returns Sept. 22 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, while SCI FI Wire has screened the first hour and can offer a few major spoilers of our own. (Stop reading if you don't want to be spoiled!)

Massive Heroes Spoilers Ahead!

i stopped reading myself after the first paragraph. ;)

Re: heroes season 3: villians

Oh I hope the spoilers are true. Now I'm a lot more psyched about the upcoming season!

In general I hope they focus less on Claire and Peter and develop the other characters more. I've always found it frustrating that they're always at the center of everything.

Official Heroes: Volume 3: Villains thread

The season premier is airing right now!

Re: Official Heroes: Volume 3: Villains thread

I didn't really follow season two--so I'm a little lost, but tonight's episode was the SHIT!!! OMG...First of all, scarred or not, Peter/Milo is fucking hot! And so is Mohinder--goddamn! And the ending--WTF?! What did Mrs. Petrelli mean? Oh, I'm officially hooked again.

Re: Official Heroes: Volume 3: Villains thread

Here are my thoughts:

-They've really gone back to the feeling of season 1. It seems like they learned a lesson from last year.

-It seems a little...desperate, perhaps...to bring back Linderman, even if he is just some figment of Nathan's imagination or whatever they're making him right now.

-It was good to see Claire's mother. I always felt like they just dropped her character and left her with no reason to even exist.

-They're actually starting to piss me off with the Niki/Jessica and now Tracy bullshit. This is the third season and they've explained absolutely nothing about her. No other character has been left that mysterious. It's annoying now. What happened to Micah and Monica after the explosion? We're two episodes into the new season and we know nothing. Tell us what the hell is going on. I do enjoy Tracy's power, though.

-All of Sylar's victims were found brainless. If he doesn't eat them, where do they go? The "Claire, that's disgusting." line was really funny.

-I think the Future Peter storyline is going to get old pretty quickly. The Present Peter in the Villain's Body storyline will get old even more quickly.

-Why did they make Mohinder crazy and creepy? I don't buy that he instantly became a power-hungry fiend out of the blue.

-Why do they make Hiro's "missions" so annoying? I already hate this bitch and we've only seen her for 30 seconds total. It doesn't seem as bad as the Feudal Japan crap, but I'm afraid to see how long they're going to drag on this "Hiro's Race Around The World" thing.

-I'm glad we finally know what Angela Petrelli's power is. Her dream was scary.

-The Matt in Africa thing...it seems very random...like they forgot to write him into the new storylines so they just came up with one for him at the last minute. It's not bad yet, but it definitely has the potential to turn into Hiro's Adventures in Feudal Japan.

-I really hope they focus more on Elle. Her character has so much potential and they're kind of wasting her (it started last season). They still list Kristin Bell as a "special guest star," so it worries me that they're going to keep wasting her.

I think I covered just about everything...I'm glad this two-hour thing is only one night. I can't stay up this late every Monday.

Re: Official Heroes: Volume 3: Villains thread

Well, as the resident uber-Heroes nerd, (ANYONE who challenges that title must out geek me in terms of having H.R.G.'s as well as the Kensei Sword), I'll throw my two cents in.

-I think Tracy may actually be Niki's twin sister; that she didn't really die and has been more or less slumming around since then. Could be wrong, but could also be right. We do know Niki had Jessica as a sister, but we never were told how she died (although it was implied her father had something to do with it.)

-I like having Linderman back! Malcolm McD. is incredibly entertaining to watch and was underused in Season One, so now's a chance to really expand on the evil that is/was Daniel Linderman.

-The Claire/Sylar dynamic has taken on a whole new meaning after the first episode. Which should be interesting to watch. And SPOILER ALERT (highlight): The preview here shows Noah Bennet going back to the Company to help them recapture the Level Fivers...Only to have Angela Petrelli introduce him to his new partner: SYLAR! So, that dynamic too is going to be interesting to watch.

-I agree with the Parkman in Africa bit; it could be rather silly if they leave him them too long.

-I am enjoying the dynamic between Mama Petrelli and Future Peter though; it's quite fun to watch the two of them whenever they're together.

-SPOILER ALERT (highlight): I was completely surprised that they killed Bob; I didn't think he was going to go out and I also think it completely takes away from Mohinder saving him from Noah in Season Two just to have him killed off screen...I would have liked to see Noah take him down, but oh well.

- On a personal note; I was kind of disappointed that Noah Bennet/H.R.G. didn't have more to do over the two hours. From the preview, it looks like next week will deal with that and put him back into a more prominent role. Also, where were Micah and Monica?

-Oh, and my choice for funniest moment of the two hours: Hiro and Ando's interaction with Kaito's video will.

Re: Official Heroes: Volume 3: Villains thread

I have seen every episode from both seasons but 10 months was a long time to try and remember everything. I forgot the brother got shot! They sure did push the violence envelope! I don't think I have ever seen such gore on a TV show. But Heroes is good. I enjoy the show. I love time travel stories and the consequences of it.

Re: Official Heroes: Volume 3: Villains thread

Sorry for the spoilers:

Mohinder should sprout blue hair. Then he'll be just like BEAST!

I wonder what else Claire can do. She asked Peter to help her use her powers offensively. Maybe she can drain the life out of someone. Or maybe she can cut her self into pieces and then each piece will grow a whole new Claire. An army of indestructible cheerleaders. She needs to find some crazy lunatic who will bind adamantium to her bones and give her claws so she can do some real damage and not feel like a victim.

I'm so sick of Hiro. He's so fucking annoying AND an idiot.

I heart Tracy's powers.

It's good Parkman is on a "spirit walk" in Aftrica. He could stand to lose some weight. And why Africa? It should have been the Outback with the Aboriginees and the dream time and the digereedoos...

HOLY SHIT, Gabriel Petrelli!!!!???

Angela Petrelli is pure evil, but of course we all knew that already.

Re: Official Heroes: Volume 3: Villains thread

My favorite part was when Elle blasted Sylar. i love Kristen Bell. I hope they do more with her character.

There is way too many characters and too much shit going on.

I read the Micah and Monica are donezo.

Re: Official Heroes: Volume 3: Villains thread

Personally, I thought that "The Butterfly Effect" was a better episode than "The Second Coming." It was so intense!

With the appearance of Francis Capra as the "sound manipulator," Jesse, I feel like we could have a Veronica Mars reunion on our hands...and that would be great! Elle's "electrical outburst" was a long time coming. She's been struggling with the development of her power for a long time.

I had to watch Tracy's freezing scene multiple times; her reaction to discovering her power was amazing!

Re: Official Heroes: Volume 3: Villains thread

Pretty good episodes. I wished that they had done a better job of reminding us what happened in the last two seasons...when you take that long of break, certain things tend to be forgotten.

I am getting sick of the Hiro storyline lines. Pretty much the same in all of the seasons. He fucks up, and then spends the remainder of the season trying to fix his fuck up. When will he be the confident future self that isn't so annoying?

Re: Official Heroes: Volume 3: Villains thread

The ratings were just so so. Heroes came in 3rd in it's timeslot.
