Hillary Clinton and her presidential-loss, blame game of excluding herself

From where I see things, we seem to be moving out of the days where one group supported another group and voting groups expected favors in return from other voting groups to support issues they care about, etc. and we seem to more so be transitioning to the day and age where we ask ourselves "what issues do we morally believe in" and do we support those issues or not?

I have had discussions with other folks ... typically voters in their late 40's or older (different generation perhaps) who seem to think one voting block needs to support another, etc. but doesn't it speak to us more as individuals if we simply vote and prioritize what we believe in as oppose to voting blocks expecting favors and thank you's for essentially "doing the right thing"?

One reason for this is that Congress did away with the ability to do favors for each other in legislation, as a misguided attempt to end "pork". Since congresscritters can't 'scratch each others' backs' any more, that has filtered own to the electorate.

Good to know. Just hasn't made its way down to everyone on here, it seems.

Do you think you have highlighted the only lessons to be learned?

That is the problem actually.....coming from the "Progressives"....

For instance...there are many but I choose the most serious one...I rarely or never even hear any of you acknowledge the Russians and the role they played. That is a very serious problem..and if you refuse to address it...do you think they are just gonna "play nice" and leave us alone in the future?

A couple months ago they hacked our Nuclear Power Plants......

I am not going to repeat what they did in the election cycle. The people who care already know..and the people who don't have decided to call it Fake News...

...and ignoring THAT will kill your chances at getting anywhere close to what you want...count in it...and you will be directly responsible for the loss if you think you can call it fake news and move along...

The so-called Russian involvement alleges that they are the ones behind the hacking of DNC computers leaking via Wikileaks the disdain of the high echelons of the DNC against Senator Bernie Sanders and his supporters. If there was nothing to hide, there was also nothing to leak. Of course, many here and in other places back in the primary were justifying the contents of these leaks saying that it's typical that Democrats will put their weight on Hillary Clinton because she is a party stalwart unlike the outsider Senator Bernie Sanders. But that's in the past and despite everything, almost 90% of us voted for her but still she failed. Now, we're moving on.

Personally, I would have taken this so-called Russian involvement seriously if what they allegedly hack are voting machines. You know the type where you voted for Hillary Clinton but instead it was counted to the Deplorable-in-Chief in some sort of hullaballoo algorithm.

The thing is...he is part of a movement that has every intention of stopping Democrats in 2018 and 2020. The purity index they measure everyone by...even their beloved Bernie would disappoint them...one "impurity" and they dump them and promise to replace them....

...which is EXACTLY like the tea party...hence alt left....

As much as they claim they had nothing to do with it..they feel empowered for bringing Clinton to her knees. They think throwing out statistics does the trick but the 24/7 disinformation campaign and the endless "it doesn't matter what we do or who we vote for because they are all the same" kept tons of voters home......that is why people engage in disinformation....and they are already planning to do it again....

Oh my. You simply never stop. Thus, so do I. Again for the nth time, almost 90% of us voted for Hillary Clinton compared to 81% of her supporters voted for Senator-then- President Barack Obama. We did our part. We delivered. If she still failed to get first on the finish line, it's no longer on us.

So bringing back the Party to its Progressive roots is now purity test? So you're saying that FDR, MLK, LBJ, among others are Alt-left? Smear us all you want but we won't be silenced. We will occupy and take back the Democratic Party to its progressive roots.

If her supporters refuse to acknowledge that she was not a good candidate, and the DNC does not want to budge on its cozy relationships with the big banks and insurance companies ... I dare the DNC and her supporters to run her again. Absolutely dare it and we will see how different the results will be.

At this point, not only are the Republicans in decent shape for next year's Congressional elections regardless of their fiasco with the Health Care bill, Trump is gearing up for a decent chance of being re-elected in 2020 with where things stand as of now. At the end of the day, James Carville says it best ... "The economy, stupid".

The Trump White House farce is daily teaching the world that Hillary Clinton was the better of the two candidates.

I guarantee you if the election were held over again, she would still lose. If you don't understand why, then it is clear you are not in tune with the electorate.

What is it about "the country does not want Hillary Clinton as President" is it that people don't understand?

^I don't use a crystal ball, nor do I forecast the results of elections... while noting your satisfaction with Donald Trump.

Clearly your opinion stems from living in an alternate reality.

Somehow your commentary crossed the membranes separating various alternate universes, whole and unto themselves, to land here, on Earth #744WhoDaFukkKnows, where it's miraculously traveled down the wire to rest here, at our proverbial doorstep.

To give you an idea what reality is on this Earth, Trump's tweets printed on downy-softess have sold out toilet paper because that's about all his opinions are good for. I don't consider an impanelled grand jury looking into the 'winning' of the presidency to be an indicator of success.

James Carville's, "It's the economy, Stupid." and Truman's, "The buck stops here." are examples of common sense and responsibility. The Democrat's rehashing their loss and POTUS continuing to argue about election numbers, is an example of neither.

Never recall stating I was thrilled with Trump. But yes, I will continue to take Trump over Hillary.

^Your confirmation is duly noted.

At least with Trump we know what we are going to get. Besides he is a failed president. He has little power at this point. Even other world leaders openly treat him as a joke.

I think it's not rehashing losses but reflecting and from there find a new way forward.

Shilary did her first interview since the big loss on CBS's Sunday Morning show. "Absolutely nothing" was her fault. Pathetic.

Oh, sounds exactly like President Donald J. Trump. He has yet to take any responsibility for anything he has done. By blaming everyone else, he, too, is saying that "Absolutely nothing" is his fault.

So, your point is...?

Your invariable tit for tat doesn't work here. If Trump is bad, that does not make Hillary good. The people here criticizing her are not Republicans.

Can't we just forget both Shiterly Clinton and Dumpster fire Trump exist? 😢😢😢

^ It's a common tactic here to try to divert the attention away from Trump and to Clinton. It never works. The point is that Trump is president, not Clinton. What is happening in the United States is Trump's doing, and he is responsible for it. It is because of Trump that blatant discrimination is allowed and often rewarded by not dealing with it.
