Does anyone watch Homeland here? I'm usually not into political stories but I've read about the ratings and the strong cast and am interesting now. Still I'm not very sure...

Would anyone give their opinion about this series?
 
This along with "Walking Dead"and the the "Good Wife" are my top three favorite shows.


You HAVE to watch it. Easily one of the best TV shows ever. Literally ever. Clare Danes kills it and you will be so thankful that all the episodes of the first season have aired.


Get to watch those bastards back to back.
 
I agree. One day, there was a marathon of Homeland on. And I had heard from friends that it was good so I decided to watch. Great show, I don't know if I would have made it through the first season normally. The suspense would have killed me.

Season 2 doesn't start until September. May have to rewatch the whole season again.

Revenge was cute but it didn't hit like Homeland. I'm so torn.

I love this show but there's something about Brody's family that kills the momentum and flow of the rest of the show. I don't know if it's the writing or the acting.
 
I agree. Brody's family annoys me. The daughter is a shit. Always spying or suspecting something. The wife (who I love as an actress, especially in V) storyline is a little off because she is expecting a POW of 8 years just to come back and act like everything is hunky dory. That is the feeling I get from her.

This show is tense! I can't wait to see how the rest of the season plays out now that the CIA know about Brody.

Know what's weird? The premise of the show isn't anything I'd really get into, and I've had a serious hatred for Claire Danes for quite awhile, but still somehow I'm tempted to atleast check it out. It's those damn ads they've been doing for the show lately.
 
The daughter is a fucking cunt. I hate the way she stares off and puts her fingers on her face. Could you imagine being friends with her?


Anyway Clare Danes is coming for those golden globes again next year. She is too sensational

Best show ever. Well.. one of. It slays me every time I watch it. It's just.... :dead:

Claire Danes is INCREDIBLE. She's just.. amazing. Perfect show. It's never boring, and always leaves you wanting more. The second season is intriguing - I've just seen episode 2. I can't wait for more!!
 
I would think that they move on from Brody for next season. I would seriously call bullshit if he somehow is converted to a double agent. I like the actor, but it is time to move on.

The best thing In my head to stretch this out is to now show seasons with Brody under CIA control being a triple agent so to speak but against his will. Everyone vs Abu nazihr (spelling, lord)

Damn. I was hoping the VP's son would somehow kill Dana. Like going for a walk along a cliff side, and he pushes her off. I know it is brutal but I just can't stand her character and her storyline.
 
Did anyone see Anne Hathaway Saturday Night Live parody of Homeland? Hilarious...I was cracking up over Dana walking around.
 
I found out today that Brody was supposed to die in season 1, but the writers were so impressed by the chemistry between Claire Danes and Damian Lewis that they changed the story. There clearly is no direction to the show and they are just throwing anything to the wall.

I have a feeling this season will somehow turn out to be in Carrie's mind due to the electroshock.

The plot holes kill me. On a show where they are surveilling everything, no one thinks to check on the tapped phone of the guy we all know is a terrorist and don't trust. Really?!?!
 
Love this show so much.
The sex scenes between Claire and Damian are so intense! Love all the plots and everything.
Waiting for the season finale, here in Latinoamerica is only 3 weeks from today!
I CAN'T WAIT.
 
Good season, but I have this dreadful feeling that they are going to continue along with Brody. I agree with above posters, time to wrap him up. Interesting article I read the other day...we still haven't found the mole in CIA. Some people might think that it is Saul.
 
^ So the cliff notes are "We have no plan!" I hope they look back at season 1 and see what worked and made this show great.
