It's called editing. In many flicks, you'll see the same "huffing and puffing" repeated over and over again before the money shot finally happens. Good editing will make it less obvious and cheap flicks are cheaply made so it's pretty obvious. Sometimes the scenes drag on too long and I lose interest, especially when they're using the standard formula of "I suck you, you suck me, I fuck you, you fuck me, I cum on you, you shoot on yourself".
