How to take money out of the pockets of anti-gay bigots

WOW, free fuel for my fireplace this winter. I shall stock up! Now, if I could only stop the unwanted AOL disks I would have it made.
 
OMG! It actually works. I ordered two hardcover books and the Chronicles of Narnia DVD. I would like to suggest www.half.com to sell unwanted books. It is owned by Ebay but is a lot easier to sell stuff, its not an austion site just sales.
 
I'm really excited to do this! I love free stuff! plus, i'll be getting lots of packages at school which always makes me look super popular. hell, it might even cofuse the hell out of my straight roomates when i have the "how not to be gay" books on the shelf and boy in the bed.
 
Fantastic! Hit them where it hurts, at least in these little incremental dribs-and-drabs. Unfortunately there's even a downside to this: FOF can then boast, over all their airwaves, that their publications have gotten more and more popular, and that may even tend to increase donations from the clueless sheeple out there.

I'd like to think that this is still more of a "win" situation for us, though.

I love this idea and I've done another version of this in the past. I once gave a $15 donation to the Heritage Foundation, who of course proceeded to sell my name to other right-wing publishers and money-machines. I am sure that the shit that I continued to get in the mail from so many places, for years, had to cost these various places many hundreds of dollars to print, and mail to me.
 
Sounds cute, but in reality not such a great idea. They don't care about the money, which they collect from their supporters -- some of whom presumably have very deep pockets. Otherwise they couldn't afford to give all this stuff away in the first place.

If we all start ordering their crap, they get to brag about how popular it's becoming -- "And look how much of it is going to zip codes where there are a lot of homerseckshulls! I guess our preaching is really making an impact! Last month alone, we shipped 100,000 copies of How Not to Be a Fag. It's just flying off the shelves!"

So you're basically playing into their hands.

I got a narnia dvd and some health books

if they only knew they are sending this stuff out to a gay muslim they would have a stroke

I agree with everything negative about this that's been said, but i don't really see how ordering the narnia DVD is going to hurt. i think i'll just keep getting them for all my friends.

And besides, who cares if they have farudulant poll data. Eventually it'll leak that they've been suckers, letting people use up their resources. We aren't paying them to destroy their materials, regardless of how deep those pockets are, it's still wasted money.

I may keep Les Miserable and the Narnia DVD, but I expect to sell the radio cd's on Ebay ;)

I just placed my order. I feel kinda creepy, though. Does that mean I've sunk to their level?
 
Yep I got my email confirmation. If your a commuter you can get the entire Narnia series on CD and listen to the story in your car each day you drive to and from work. I wonder how long I need to wait in between orders.
 
Wow, gotta try this...I want myself a Narnia & Les Miserables DVD too!
