Hyperbole. After Nixon, via Ford, was Carter-- elected in large part as a reaction to Nixon. Ford's defeat was in large part a rejection of Nixon. Not to detract at all from Obama, but after Bush comes Obama. The system is working. The American people made the change. The pendulum, so far, has never gotten stuck. There's my sense of security. I thought we were talking about the great loss to America. The millions of dollars wasted, the troops being brought back in body bags, ya ya ya. The Iraqi civilians were just playing their part in everyday life so if anything would be condsidered tragic it'd be them lossing their family and property to war.
