It sounds as though Book I did everything we had hoped it would for you. We really thought that sharing what these three guys went through as they were figuring out who they were and where they wanted to go sexually and in their broader lives would help readers sort out their own lives, goals and even sexuality.
As for those "images in my head", don't worry, they aren't likely to go away. We understand they make great jack-off material. As a writer I believed it was important that readers understand the depth and power sexual desire and experience can have on guys, especially (but not exclusively) young guys experiencing life and sex for the first time. I know you enjoyed Book I at all its levels. I suspect you will find Book II to be different (maybe a little darker at times) but just as satisfying.
