Innovative videogame: 'Mirror's Edge'

It is very linear, but is fun to play regardless. The combat is intentionally minimal to make you stick with the parkour, so if you can handle that it's a good game.

That said I'm loving the zombie smashing mayhem of Left4Dead. Dumb title, great game.

If I owned an X-Box 360, I think this would be at the top of my list. It seems so innovative and visually, it's quite stunning.

For example, I thought they could invent a game where you are inside the body and each level is a part of the body, ie the stomach, lungs, and heart are all levels. Just like in the movie 'The Fantastic Voyage'

there was a game like that many years ago. you were playing the body's immune system and had to fight of bacterias and stuff like that ;)

I need help

How do I jump from the red shipping container to the grider to the plank that drops down when you jump onto it?

I did it once out of 30 trys but I havent done it again

Thanks

Get a running jump, and as you jump grab the 'low manouvre' button, it'll bring your legs up, giving you a bit more height and lenth. You'll just about make it.

I played the demo and I wasn't impressed. It's not all that innovative. The general premise is much like the Prince of Persia games, Mirrors Edge just put a first person perspective to it. The reviews have said that the whole game is much like the demo and lacks variety.

Fair comment. That said, very few games are totally original, and the reason I like M.E is because it's not focused just on laying waste to everything in sight.

That was one of the games that tempted me to buy a Xbox360, well that, fable 2 and bioshock. Saving up for it, but in no hurry, just used my xmas money to buy fable 2 and its great so far!

But on topic, It looks a great game, and the graphics make my eyes hurt! :D
