Less than ten people have one that award last time I checked...Not un-armed dear.

And some of Mrs. Carters grammy's are due to DC - not solo work.

Quoted from Wikipedia - AMA's

"Artists that won most awards

The record for most American Music Awards won is held by Michael Jackson, who has amassed twenty-six awards, including one for "Artist of the Century". The most American Music Awards for a group belongs to Alabama who have collected twenty-three awards and for a female artist belongs to Whitney Houston with twenty-two awards.[2][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]
Michael Jackson 26
Alabama 23
Whitney Houston 22

[edit] Artists that won the most in A single year

The record for the most American Music Awards won in a single year is held by Michael Jackson (in 1984) and Whitney Houston (in 1994), each with 8 awards to their credit (including the Award of Merit, with which both artists were honored in the respective years).
Michael Jackson 8 (1984)
Whitney Houston 8 (1994)"

You better check for her fashion empire, sis.

Let's not forget the Weight Watchers campaign.

Unless Jesicca is running all those factories and preparing everything in her fashion line by herself, she isn't a billionaire. Her fashion line is worth a billion, she herself is probably worth a fraction of that.

I think it's cool that she's done better in fashion than in music. It just proves that nobody really took her as seriously as a musician/artist, and changing career paths was the right call. Though I can't help but think she got the idea from Victoria Beckham :gogirl:

Sources say:

Whitney: -$20 million. (Yes, minus. That means she owes money... even A.D. :dead:)
Whitney is worth $20 million now, because after her death, her single and record sales sky rocketed and pulled in nearly $40 mil. Sparkle, a movie in which she acted and served as an executive producer was also released after her death. This paid off her debt to her record label and brought her back to the + side of things.

Um, those pics above are for her solo work, "dear." Where are the other two in the picture?

Beyoncé has 17 Grammy awards (3rd on the list of most grammys) and she's only 31. 2nd on that list is Aretha Franklin with 18, one more year and she'll be there. With Destiny's Child 3 Grammys that's 20. But her Grammy numbers alone trounce anyone out right now. :)

A lot of good that does her now...

And Grammys > American Music Awards.

LMAO. I didn't realize one high school changed everything.

Beautiful is probably my favorite song by her, but I still don't think it had the cultural impact as Beyonce's biggest singles. "Single Ladies" had video parodies everywhere on the net and was catchy as hell.

I know you're a Christina Stan, though, so I'm a leave you alone before shit gets intense and you pull up more stats about high school anthems.
Beautiful is far more universal than any Beyonce hit, that's just a fact. And I'm not even a Christina fan and HATE everything she's done after Back to Basics, but get real here.

To quote wiki,

The Jonas Åkerlund directed music video earned Aguilera a GLAAD Media Award for its positive portrayal of gay and transgender people. In 2011, UK LGBT Rights organization Stonewall named "Beautiful" the most empowering song of the previous decade for gay, lesbian and bisexual people.

Beyonce has yet to put out a song that's as universal, which everyone can relate to from the LGBT community to straights, guys & girls, etc. Beyonce also hasn't seemed to have tackled any such social or cultural issues that Christina has in her songs (bullying, sexuality, etc.)

Christina sealed the deal as The Voice of the Generation with songs like Beautiful, because it seemed like she would sing for everyone with those songs. I have yet to see Beyonce to do such a thing or put out something as meaningful as that. And yes, credit should be given to the producers & writers as well, but it was her voice which made those songs so phenomenal on radio.

So yes I do agree that Beyonce has had more chart success, Grammys, etc. But most of her songs are about feminism, romance, or just club/dance music. She hardly, if ever tackles serious issues through her music.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_awards_and_nominations_received_by_Beyoncé_Knowles

She has an impressive list of awards, but not 1 of her awards for her music is given to her any group not associated with music and she's never received an accolade for doing something for any particular community of people through her music, like Christina has.

Anyone can have a thigh gap when they spread their legs like that, but its all the good sis knows. :P

Jessica's thighs...Along with Christinas - are too damn big to have a gap. Hahahah.

And might I add that Whitney has held the Guinness WR for "The Most Awarded/Popular Female Artist of All Time"

Thank you. Remain seated.

lol I don't even care about Jessica I was just using her to piss you off and it's still working. (✿◠‿◠)

I'm not seriously pissed lol. I just felt like cutting that girl past the white meat.

There's no need to be racist I'm reporting you. (◕‿◕✿)

As many times as your girl Kenya talked about being cut to the white meat....Really. I'm not Kim Zolciack. "I ain't no racist"
