Buzz boy,

re the khakis...

maybe they are anticipating the little wrinkles

Might lead to a BIG TENT?

Really Mr Bessler?

Under clothes as well? (hold the starch)

Tutu's too?

I never cared for the last word. It's usually good bye.

I iron my clothes every blessed day. :)

I got a steamer for christmas and I steam my shirt [or pants if they look bad] every morning. Feels good.

I have friends that splurge on so much crap like paying someone to do their laundry every week and clean up their apartments once a month. Many of them in fact cannot afford to pay for those services. It's embarrassing how inept my generation is. It's also why I'm the only one of my friends with an 800+ credit rating.

You two probably picked my two favorite Bob Seger songs. So kudos to you both.

Here's an oddity. When I became interested in the history of pop music over the years, I looked up the music of my youth. And I found the Bob Seger's second highest charting song was "Shame on the Moon", which hit #2 in 1983. When I was thirteen. And, like most 13-year-olds of all time periods, I was an avid consumer of pop culture at that time. And I don't remember that song at all. Admittedly, I was getting much of my music from MTV at the time, and there was no video for it. But "Baby Come to Me" by Patti Austin and James Ingram hit number one that same month - it had no video, either, and I knew that song really well. Did my local radio stations just skip over that Bob Seger song, for some reason?

I would guess "We've Got Tonight' would have been on a slower, ballad type station, and not mixed with the more upbeat MTV "pop" music ?

Bob Seger's most popular song was probably Old Time Rock and Roll because of Tom Cruise dancing in his tighty whiteys.
But his best songs are;
Roll Me Away
Night Moves
Turn The Page
You'll accompany Me
I've been a Seger fan since the 70's.

Well, "Baby Come to Me" is a pretty simpy ballad, and I knew that one. It's odd that I didn't know "Shame on the Moon".

Depressingly enough, Bob Seger's highest charting single was "Shakedown" from Beverly Hills Cop II.

just jerked off to this. i would love to be the woman that got the lapdance. :inlove:

I'm frustrated with myself because I know I can do much better in my professional endeavors, but I just can't figure it all out. :dead:
It sucks to feel like you have so much potential and "drive", but know not what to do with it.

I just don't feel passionate enough about anything to completely throw myself into it.

I have always secretly felt that the great majority of what you can actually 'make a living at doing' in our reality in western societies is pretty limited and pretty dull. Some type of paper pushing.

Seconded. Sort of. I think I've figured out what I'm good at, and I can think of how to make some coin at it. (Not a lot, but some.) But then comes the tough part - selling others on the idea. And this sucks doubly because 1. I've had a tough time really explaining the ideas to people, and 2. I'm a terrible salesman. I have to basically walk up to people and say "I have this idea that will work great, so give me some money to make it happen, and it'll be worth it in the end." And I'm just terrible at that.

You're right. You suck at it. I read this and thought, "Used Car Salesman". ;)
