Doubt this was planned, Taylor Swift looked genuinely sad and shocked. Not a fan of hers but Kanye's behavior was totally uncalled for.

I don't think it was staged at all. The other performers apparently don't either. Pink reportedly walked up to him during a commercial break and gave him a look of disgust before being escorted away.

The guy is a jerk.

I'm on the West Coast, so I haven't seen it yet, but from what I heard, Taylor was giving her acceptance speech when she was rudely interrupted by Kanye who said Beyonce should have won the award because "Single Ladies" was one of the best videos ever, according to him.

He actually takes the microphone away from her while she's talking. She has just thanked them for honoring her, especially since she's a country singer, and he comes out of nowhere and takes the mic from her. Beyonce looks pretty stunned that he has done such a thing.

I don't think Taylor Swift should of won. I'm surprised she did win though. I think what Kanye West did was an asshole stunt but whatever I still like him and all his attention seeking behavior.

It doesn't fucking matter who YOU or KANYE think deserved the award. I was pretty pissed that Brokeback Mountain didn't win Best Picture, too, but no one grabbed the mike from the hand of the winner to say that Brokeback should have won.

Do you get it? Who actually "deserved" the award is irrelevant. And KW was also effectively saying to Taylor Swift "not only do you not deserve this, I'm not even going to let you accept it without spoiling the moment."

Love his "crazy ass" if you want. Sounds like he's all ass to me, especially between his stupid ears.
