They could have moved it to another night. I mean really, do all their shows HAVE to be on Monday or Tuesday nights? And why kill your big hitter and keep on the "little siblings?" I love Lincoln Heights, but I don't think it deserves to be picked up over Kyle XY. I don't know what ABC is smoking when considering releasing shows on their stations, but they're really fucking over their viewers.
 
I personally want all of them to stay on, as I love each one. However, I don't think Lincoln Heights has the viewership that Kyle XY does...then again, I haven't checked the stats, so I might be wrong.

But Secret Life got picked up as well? How much story can a show revolved around a pregnant girl come with? I personally can't stand the show because the characters are annoying as hell.

Oh well, ABC won't be on my favorites list much anymore. 90% of my programmed shows were on ABC Family and ABC, and now they're all being canceled and replaced by crap sitcoms.

This is sad news for me too for I love Kyle XY. I did not like the fact that they moved it an hour later to compete with Heroes this season but I gave up watching that so I can watch the hottie with no belly button instead.

never mind I went to the Kyle XY forums on ABCfamily.com and they were all posting about it too....they have campaigns already going (sending postcards and sour patch kids to ABC Family and other networks)

Yeah, this pissed me off too. Just found out yesterday.

I guess I'm gonna have to send some sour patch kids out in the mail.
 
The press release referred to a significant drop in the ratings as the reason for the axing. I'm gonna blame Amanda and especially her mother for that happening.
 
I think it had something to do with a combination of how they put out episodes, and the introduction of Jessie. Jessie is a boring character, IMO. She's very typical, and doesn't have much depth. Plus there's the love triangle of Amanda, Kyle, and Jessie. However, we are only now starting to scratch the surface on the biggest mystery of Latnok. They should at least allow some kind of miniseason or something, similar to Doctor Who and Torchwood, to come to a conclusion.
