Let's see....they are more stable, great mentors, wiser than we because of more life experience, more experienced in bed, every other word out of their mouth is not "dude", usually have great social skills, can be wonderful, trustworthy friends and have the abilty to have an intelligent conversation about a variety of things.
 
i love men. The things that make a man a man are the things that attract me to older, hairy or masculine men.

Simple as that.
 
I can't stand immaturity which is most men my age, I go for older men by default.

For me it's just what I am naturally attracted to. I can't explain it any better than I can explain why I'm gay. I'm just magnetically drawn to them.
 
I like older men I think because my first gay encounter was with an older man. But then I also had relationships with younger men my age and they were all immautre. I guess I just like being fucked by an older guy, someone who is more mature mentaly and physically.
 
the acceptable age range for me is 18-50. older (NOT elderly) men tend to have less attitude and can generally carry better conversations.
 
I was at Wal Mart last week. I ran into this really nice guy. Pretty eyes, hairy chest, nice smile. He was 51 years old. I'm 39, so a guy in his 40's - 50's is a great age for me. He asked me if I had a lover, I told him not in 20 years. I wish that I had time for a lover in my life. Some day I will.

Until then I have an incredible amount of hope (and imagination(!) ).

Exactly what I like. Its more maturity for me though. I usually always want the other person/s to get off first before I do. But then again, most of the guys I slept with only last for like 30 minutes and are done =(..... I've always liked older men -- and have rarely dated men my own age. I'm really turned off by stupidy and self-centeredness. Two things that younger guys tend to drag along with them until they finally get a clue. For me personally, I just find them sexier all around. The guys I like aren't primped and preened androids. They tend to have natural masculine builds with kind faces.

Older guys tend to be more open minded about their partners -- including basic physique (slim vs muscular vs overweight), cock size, and race etc. They are most certainly better lovers -- because they are actually trying to enjoy the moment and not just adding you to a score card. Bragging rights are for fools.

The sexual stuff aside...as many have said, they are established. By that I don't mean rich but settled. They have their own places and means of transportation. They have likely traveled too. They have political and worldy opinions. In other words they are cultured gentlemen. They use their brains for more than just "should I wear my boi bangs up or down tonight" dilemmas.

I think there is something wonderful, fascinating, and sexy about a person who finally "gets it". When a person reaches that point in life where they finally realize what is truly important and what is not. It's not about looks, status, or money...those things rarely last anyway. It's about trying to be happy...and hopfully with another person. [insert sweeping violins here]

Lucky me...I've always liked men of any age as long as they had reasonably good attitudes and bodies. But I do remember that many of my friends preferred oldr men when we were back in school (it was the 70s and we were an openly gay gang of boys). But speaking now, I suspect that the biggest attraction that younger guys feel for older men is a subconscious feeling of security when being held in stronger and more mature arms...heheh...but I'm no psychologist or else I'd be able to explain why I've also had lots of hot times with men fifteen years my senior. And I'm going on 50 already. Oh well...the brain and its favourite attachment can't be explained all that easily, can it?

I'm older now myself, but I've always preferred older men because I'm more into butch types than femmes (no offense meant). So older men stray from the petty boy type that doesn't really turn me on. With me it's purely physical - mental inmaturity in a 50 year old beefy masculine bear would not turn ME off.
