Can anyone explain me why the best reviewed movie of the year was so widely ignored by the voters of the Hollywood Foreing Press Association?

Can anyone explain me why the best reviewed movie of the year was so widely ignored by the voters of the Hollywood Foreing Press Association?

I guess because "action" movies generally are ignored. That, and the Academy voters are pretty much idiots.

Oops, my bad. Well, they're all idiots. Those award shows are pointless anyway, seeing as the same people get nominated every year. Although I do wholeheartedly agree with Heath Ledger's nomination. His performance *better* win.

The best reviewed film of the year is actually Wall-E which has the highest rating at Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes of any film this year, including The Dark Knight.

Then that's why they decided to ignore "The Dark Knight"!!!.

Who cares for the second best reviewed movie for the year?

The Hollywood Foreing Press Association certainly don't.

Please, Nik2, don't take it personal. (*8*)
After all, you have nothing to do with it.

Finally, someone who agrees with me about The Dark Knight being overrated. Everyone I have said that to looked at me like I was retarted. It was a good movie but not as good as people make it out to be.
