LOST - parts that make you cry. *

No I questioned the fact that you weren't saying anything good about it...
I also said that I would rather discuss the show politely and move past the whole thing that was really stupid, and I know, started by me.

I think that the show has been getting better and this is my favourite season actually, I just didn't enjoy the last episode. Well, I enjoyed the first bit and the end bit. It was John's visits to the O6 (apart from Sun) I didn't particularly like; it didn't really tell us anything we didn't already know. My favourite episode has to be 'This Place Is Death' or 'The Little Prince'

I prefer the on island stuff to the off island stuff perhaps that's why I didn't enjoy the last episode?

I thought the Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham told us a bunch of things we didn't know (or shouldn't have known by ordinary means). In fact, it was one of the more revealing episodes this season. It told us who killed Locke. It showed us that he didn't hang himself. It showed us how Locke began to lose his faith in the island and himself, through the people he visited. It gave us more background on the history of Ben and Widmore. It showed us that Ben is back on the island. It showed us that Locke is (apparently) not dead. I could go on, but whatever. We obviously watched different shows last week.

I didn't think that John losing faith in himself because of what the O6 said to him was very believable. I thought the whole John wanting to kill himself was a little out of place. Only when I watched it, looking back I can see how much Locke has suffered at the hands of his father, Ben and Whidmore too. But everything else you said it told us were the parts I said were good. The beginning and the end.

I think it was pretty obvious that John was going to come back to life, considering Ben's whole Schpiel of Jesus coming back to life and someone having to touch his wounds to believe he had come back to life. And considering Ben was on the plane the previous episode that should also be a given that he ended up on the island.

Obviously we have different opinions on what a good Lost episode is, as opposed to watching different shows.

Your buddy out there with the eyeliner. LOL. I've been wondering if anybody else noticed since we first saw Richard.

So--are our Losties the original Others, or the original Dharma? Remember---Ben's people are going to (in the 80's?) kill most of the people living at the compound. Where does that leave the Lost crew "now"?

I imagine that a Jin on his 60's is going to meet a young Sun. That will be so sad......

Im pissed that they put Juliet and Sawyer together just so she can play second fiddle to Kate AGAIN. I grew to love Juliet and she deserves more than everyone just settling for her when Kate leaves them.

holy shit... what an episode!

everything changed tonight...

seriously outstanding story telling.

i just watched it, so i'm gonna need some time to process it.

Thought it was rather boring, except for the final scene. That was very cool, but expected.

Is this the last season?

Kind of cool episode, got to see the statue from the back. Remember a long time ago we saw a foot of the statue with 4 toes. Wished that they would show the front.

No there is one more season to go after this one :D

I'll post more when I watch it.

AMAZING !!!
IMO the best episode of this season so far !!!!!!!!

I liked it coz i really liked the character dvpmt, the island story, the DI thing....
thats was confusing but so good:cool:

A lot of emotions too, mixed feelings and i liked it a lot !!!..|..|

The statue.. so glad to finally see it again...

I've realized we have a lot of "Egyptian clues"

- the statue looks egyptian
- Hurley was painting the sphinx in the previous ep.
- back at the hatch when they didnt press the button i remember there were hieorglyphs (dunno if u remember)

The lil' boy borned on the island must be special !! and paul's necklace must be important too

I liked the Juliet /sawyer relationship:gogirl:
and the young charlotte sequence + the last scene were beautiful !!

cant wait for next episode !!

lol yeah that was a funny line, but if u look at pics of the actor Nestor Carbonel (i believe) it seems that he doesnt wear make up ... his eyes are ALWAYS that balck
and he said it before ... still think its weird but anyway

After Last Nights Episode - My Biggest Reaction Is WTF? I Didn't Like It Much Because Now I Am Beyond Confused.
If The Losties Were On The Island At The Beginning Of The Dharma Initiative - Why Didn't They Remember Anything When They First Crashed?

Well this is confusing... but when they crashed they didnt know about the island....
lets take an example

Sawyer is born ==> he grew up holding a grudge against a con man ==> he ends up in oceanic 815 ==> he's a survivor ==> he doenst make it to the freighter and stay on the island ==> the island moves and he moves to 1977 and so on

when he first crashed he didnt know about the island yet altho future sawyer already been there...

thats confusing but i dunno if u got it or not

I looked up some pics and it's hard to tell, not many are as close as the shots on Lost. I was talking to one of my friends about show and we mentioned Richard and she said something about him looking like he wears eyeliner. Definitely strange if he really doesn't wear anything.

About the Time line/remembering issue.........If you got in a time machine and went back in time, you would not remember it BEFORE it happened. Mentally, their thinking is still linear, (going forward) even though their bodies are traveling thru time.

on a side note-----does anyone other than me remember the actor that plays Richard, from when he got his start on a (short lived) WB sitcom called Muscles? He was SO funny!

so... in last week's episode, with Ceaser and Locke they were in an abandoned Dharma place, right? so are they in a different time? i really don't know how they would make that work...

now we know that Dharma (at some point) had an agreement with the Others (Richard and them)... hopefully they will explain how this agreement came to pass. this clearly happened after the bomb though, and at that point weren't Richard's people dressed as Dharma? or were they posing as US military? i can't remember.

I agree, my favourite episode of this season and that means of the series so far!

I didn't find any of it confusing except for the fact that it means John and Ben are in a different timeline, which is a good thing because I think Ben is the bad entity on the island.

I remember saying that I wanted Juliet and Sawyer together, but I never really "saw" it you know? It's hard to believe something like that could work until you actually see it. But with the great script and the two amazing actors they really pulled it off.
Do you know, one thing I have noticed throughout this show... Juliet's hair. Every scene there's something different about it! I think it's a great thing. When we first met her she was always tying her hair back or doing something with it, they've just taken those bits out now and her hair is always different. I liked her being some mechanic lol and she had a bandana and pigtails!!!
Also you know how she helped Amy (who I really like) give birth - that baby wouldn't have been born before right? And Amy and the baby would have died? Could that have been the start of the curse?
Oh and good shooting Juliet! She got that other good and proper!

The statue! We saw the statue! From behind though, so that's a bit disappointing - looked female though...

The young Charlotte scene was beautiful, all slow-moed and everything.

Juliet and Sawyer's relationship will be tested when Kate shows up.

Oh, I was thinking that Juliet might be pregnant like you did, but I don't think she's going to die. I think she has become a writer's and producer's favourite. Not only that I think that because Ben is in a different timeline she is safe from the baby curse. (like I said I think Ben is the bad entity, you know how he killed his mother when he was born?) And just 'cause she had sex with James doesn't mean she's pregnant she had sex with Goodwyn.

Looks like James name is officially going to be James now! Yay!

I'm sure Amy's baby is going to be someone we met as an adult. Maybe Ethan? He was born and grew up on the Island.....

I like the Idea of the Losties now being in two different timelines.....some in the past (1974) and others in the present. The ones from the "past" who are still alive, probably watched (everything we have seen up till now) from the background, never interfering, knowing that if they had, things might work out differently----and not in a GOOD way.

Where the hell are the other castaways from the flight? (Bernard, Rose, etc.)

I hope Desmond comes back he is my favorite. I hope people are right about Juliet being a fan favorite too. I hope that keeps her alive. The lost producers do listen. Ana Lucia was hugely unpopular and they killed her off. Also those two that were on that random episode, Paulo and actress girl, were killed off because fans hated them so much.Plus, Desmond was not supposed to be on the show long but he became so beloved by fans that he became a regular.

But Juliet wasn't there in the original past and so the baby would not have lived, or if it had would have at least killed the mother. And also we don't know that Ethan was born on the island... when were we told that?

They'll be around... although some may not have survived the nosebleeds!!!

I hope that Juliet is a fan favourite!!! She's my favourite! I actually think I'm in love with Elizabeth Mitchell, she looked so fresh faced this episode - anyone else notice?
