LOST - parts that make you cry. *

Look Ekim----Ben.....is.....not....dead! LOL Why do SO many people think he (in 1977) is dead! You'll see this week... He is alive!

But I AM interested to see how Ben's confrontation with the smoke monster (and probably his own inner reflections because of it) change him........

No but I think he's not dead too
I was just sayin that IF he is... then that could explain the attack of smokie

but I do believe he's alive in 1977

You're Right - The One Along The Stream Was Shannon.

Was There Anyone In A Tree Then? I Remember Someone Bloodied And Hanging In A Tree. But I Don't Honestly Remember If The Smoke Monster Had Anything To Do With That One.

That would be the pilot in the 'pilot' episode.

ana lucia was always planned to be killed off. libby was killed off along with her 'cause the writers believed ana lucia wasn't a sympathetic enough character, so they needed a "random death"

or at least that's what the creators said. it still seems pretty likely that the dui had something to do with it

Well, I remember seeing both their mugshots together and am pretty sure that they were both in the car and arrested for dui?

^actually they were coincidentally both arrested in DIFFERENT DUI's on the same nite. (and sorry, I forgot that the actor playing Mr. Eko was dealing with the recent death of his parents.) No matter what the producers SAY about the two actresses and their reason for leaving, I still think the original rumor was true....

Wasn't Charlie beat up by Ethan and hung up in a tree in the first or second season?

^^^Yeah, so was I. Shannon was my favorite character and I think Maggie Grace is a terrific actress. She doesn't seem to have done much since she left the show though.

If you like her that much she is in 'The Jane Austen Book Club' playing a lesbian - I love that movie! And she is also in 'Taken' playing a 16 year old? It was really good too.

I went to a used DVD store the other day and impulsively got a DVD of four episodes of LOST from Season 2 (for only two bucks!). One of the Episodes was of when Micheal ran off into the jungle to find Walt after receiving "messages" from Walt on the computer. Remember that? It was the first time the Losties had contact with the Others (nite. surrounded by torches in the jungle.) At one point Sawyer gets grazed by a bullet fired from a hidden Other. What if the person who shot at Sawyer, was.....James. Yeah...Sawyer Other shot at (purposely only grazing) Sawyer Lostie. I'm wondering if it might be revealed this or next season, that Micheal ran into Old Sawyer, or Old Jack, in the jungle on his way to find Walt. Wouldn't that be neat? Of course he was told not to say anything. And that could be the reason for the confrontation of the Losties by the Others----because they were on the side of the Island they should NOT be on, in their search for Micheal. In order to scare them away......

^^^Well -- who knows. Theoretically (according to Faraday) they can't change anything that's already happened when they time travel. But aren't they changing things just by being there? Certainly looks that way in the last couple episodes.

I guess at some point they'll explain away the paradoxes. Maybe with alternate universes? But I don't really care, time travel is a pretty overused gimmick in scifi by now...

From the previews of tonight episode....

the time travelling thing is not gonna be explained soon I think... if they explain it one day !!

Completely off topic, but why has everyone's name gone pink?

Anyway. It does look like they are changing things just by being there and making choices - I don't know hpw they are going to explain it away but I can wait until they do. I bet this episode is with Sun and the people in 2007 right?

I think this ep is still in 77 or shtg ....

and the pink thing"s just a april fools problly

It had better be, I want to know if Ben is alive or not.

Well it had better be, pink is far too gay!

Read that tonights episode is called 'Whatever Happened, Happened.'

So, what happened? It's not online yet. Has it been aired yet?

great episode...

and JOHN B, i really like the idea that (when the Losties originally met the Others) the reason they weren't supposed to go to the other side is because they might meet their other thems and fuck things up.

That was truly an awesome episode!

Heart-wrenching when Kate left Aaron. That supermarket bit was terrifying a mother's and child's biggest fear and so true!

I love Kate's reason for going back. Looks like finding Claire will play a big part in the storyline soon. Yay!!!

Jack has turned into a John Locke.

"Welcome to the land of the living." Man that was totally awesome.

So Ben was taken to the temple - black smoke lives there. Something happens which makes him lose his innocence... but what?

How funny was the Hurley and Miles sequence. "Shoot me" Hilarious. And a useful explanation tool.
"I'm confused."
"Get used to it."
Looks like we are going to get a lot more confused before things start making sense.

I think this is my favourite episode ever of LOST.

Oh, and I don't know if it was the video in bad quality but they've made Juliet look uglier than normal - is that because Kate was taking center stage for this episode?
Actually change that, she looked uglier with that horrible hair. When she burst in on Jack in the shower she was pretty again.
She was really mad... gotta love Juliet!

the Miles/Hurley thing was great.
and when Juliet busted in on Jack, that was pretty great.

and i like that Sawyer made it very clear that he's chosen Juliet. i really like the way that they've developed his character, he's a totally different person now and it's very interesting to see a very common situation (of someone who's changed being confronted by those who know them only in the past, as one thing, and want/need him to still be that thing) in a TV show and portrayed with such depth.

i was actually really glad when Jack said he wouldn't help Ben because i want him to just be dead already (from the previews of next week, maybe i'll get my wish?)

also, the Hurley/Miles convo kind of hinted that Ben might actually remember them?

it seems they're doing flash-backs to what each person did between the time they left the dock and arrived at the airport, next week's will be Ben's. that just leaves Hurley and maybe Sun (although we saw Sun and Jack in the episode with Mrs. Hawkings.)

I love that Sawyer made it clear that he had chosen Juliet as well. It was just as they were about to carry Ben through the sonic fence. I wish I could remember what he said. I really hope he stays this way. I like this Sawyer.

I was glad when Jack said he wouldn't help Ben too and the way he said it "What if the island chooses to fix things itself" - something like that - was very John Locke. What did the previews show - they always cut that bit off online...

Yeah, Ben will remember them which is actually quite freaky.

How do you know next week is Ben's? Maybe we will actually see him going after Penny and getting beaten up by Desmond?

They're doing a great job of making me care less and less about Jack.

That's all I know.
Kate Sawyer and Juliet are preety cool though.

This episode was kinda nice, I Felt bad for Kate... and the woman who took Aaron in the store, didn't she look like a cracked out Claire? I thought it was her for a second. lol

Yep, Jack sucks. Perhaps they are making us care less about him so they can kill him off without a major repurcussion?

At first I thought it was Claire... from behind. But when she turned around she looked nothing like her.

^ the preview showed a lot about Ben and it showed a scene of him on a dock with a payphone pointing a gun that did not look like the island, so i'm guessing that it's a "flash-back"

i'm just guessing from the pattern so far, since the O6 have returned they filled in the gaps of what Sayid and Kate did before getting on the plane, the only one we're not sure about is Ben.

also, if you look on Youtube you can probably find the previews.

Oh right, thanks. I probably could! lol

Well I'm interested in finding out what he did - do you reckon he went after Penny?

And do you reckon child Ben dies. Get rid of that horrid actor... please!
