i often have bouts of load sneezes 2/3 times a day
my nieghbours are the same
when i spoke to the doctor he said i am alerjik to dust mites
so how do you kill these dust mites when you cant see them
my cleaner always does dusting

Me too. Not sneezing so much, but during the winter with the heating on and the windows shut I've been waking up with a headache and a wheezy cough, which I put down to dust mites. Someone told me pillows get so full of their doodoo that you should chuck them out and get new ones every six months.

Something like this works for me and I am allergic to most things in the air. In fact I intend to buy this model when I can as it has a remote so I can shut it off when taking a call.


Just make sure to buy one that can deal with dust mites, which I would think would be most of them.

Or just wash your pillows every six months rather than buy new ones

Launder sheets more frequently and vacuum the mattress when you do. Eliminate carpeting if you can and launder your curtains regularly. You don’t really need to run the curtains through the wash, you can put them in the dryer with a wet towel and let it run for awhile.

I have my windows slammed shut at the moment.

And still have a sneeze fest first thing....lots of trees out in bud.
