MaMa Mia I just saw and what a entertaining movie I never saw the play I bet thats even better Meryl Streep was fantasic,I love ABBA and the movie did ABBA Justice, Even the men of MaMa Mia were good, Bronson was all right nut Meryl best friend i just can't remember where I saw her at, she did a sitcome I THINK,SHE SANG Does Your Monter Know" was excellent, it is one of my favorite musical now, it is just a entertaing film.

I liked the movie. I was surprised that Meryl Streep could sing so well. Pierce Brosnan had a horrible voice. Could not sing at all.
I did not see the Musical stage production.

I liked it. Thought Meryl sounded great! Who knew she had such a good singing voice. I also really liked the young woman who played her daughter.

I liked it, didn't think it was groundbeaking or anything - but it was a fun movie to see and very enjoyable.

And I love Meryl, and was impressed with her vocals - all the males fell short though. Except Dominic Cooper - he was hot wasn't he?

Same thing here scains.

It was enjoyable, but not groundbreaking, I sincerely doubt it was meant to be groundbreaking. Honestly, the guys weren't all that bad, most could pull off(albeit in some cases barely) a solo well, and with the group songs/duets, the other person/people usually complimented them well, like 'Our Last Summer'. I think that one went pretty well. Dominic Cooper I liked alot.. especially to look at, lol. Still need to see The History Boys.

I did not understand a single word snowcreatureparis09 said.

But, to give my $.02, I thought it was a horrible movie. Badly shot, poorly written, acted, you name it. The one good thing that came out of if is, it introduced me to ABBA. Heretofore, I was only familiar with a couple of their songs ("Dancing Queen" and the title song), but the movie made me an instant ABBA fan.
